I have had the "Team Corally 1/8 Muraco XP 6S 4WD LWB Brushless Truggy," for over a year and it is a pleasure to drive. It is imporessive in many ways yet my issues are also regarding the part u broke and the parts around the wheels. Also the cap/tip of the shock absorber broke off on bottom near ground hence I replaced the shock absorber with steel or metallic tip rather than plastic since I know of others who have had same breaking point.. I always benefit from and enjoy your content. Hence ty and sincere Best wishes.

This is basically a Kraton sized buggy, even the body can be switched more or less. If I hadnt a Kraton EXB already, I would have bought that already.

Pretty sure I broke mine the same way, but at least I got some huge air out of it and a longer run than you did. There's definitely an issue with the seam of those arms, I think, it's the only thing that seems to break on these cars. Other than the wing... Try it with the Sketer tyres on and see how you go. I absolutely love mine with those tyres and if you gear it up a tooth or 2, its even better. 😉

Oh yeah! I put the Sketer tires on mine right out of the box. I love it! I haven't geared up yet, but I might do that next.

Thanks for the tips! I suspect your dirt is quite different than mine as the Sketer tires don’t work well at my park and I recall something else that you mentioned worked well (Mojave 4S?) that also don’t work well for me. And then things like the Quantum2 do for me but not for you? Dirt can definitely be very strange that way.

I'm surprised you didn't get one of these sooner. I really enjoy this buggy. Is the perfect size. Super reinforced, but kinda a pig to work on in some places. Mine ripped through the same upper arm

The Upper arm splitting at the seam is becoming a bit of a theme with the Asuga... Is this a droop screw issue or is it over-extending for another reason...?

You landed a TON better then I would. I was looking at prices of these before. But with all the reports of these problems, makes me re think my purchase. Only because I don’t have parts support near me. Thank you. Great vide

Truggy size buggy...but does in fact drive like a buggy. Speaking of big buggies it would be great to see a Typhon 8S someday...not sure if I would prefer it on an Outcast length chassis for more agility and durability or on the longer Kraton chassis which would make it more legitimately 1/5 scale...nearly the size of a DBXL-E

Man we all messed up if you don’t own Losi 5ive B , maybe to nice to bash though, it would have to be on the outcast 8s chassis to be proportional if they made it from existing parts

Tc is yesterday’s arrma , they have one goal and to make high speed bashers , it’s like they were offended arrma went to horizon which we know they had t choice . That’s why we get franchise marketing stuff like new escs smart battery technology ect , 😅TC whole budget it’s to rip hard without breaking , there esc motors sums it up and any breaking premature is not for them trying there best and not being cheap . I break hinge pin brace with typhon and arrmas sometimes too , once you get into the sending buggies they need a good front bumper , rpm t bone or one from a truggy .

It looks like a great RC, It's just a pet peeve of mine having non-standard class RC's. Like what does the Asuga do that a 1/8 bashing truggy doesn't, even more so now that 'bruggy' bodies are popular in the racing world.

  • @RcSpeedFreak-kk8wj

1 the Asuga is not a racing buggy it’s a basher. And two the size makes it more capable on difficult terrain.

@@RcSpeedFreak-kk8wj I understand that, but the footprint is about exactly the same as a 1/8 truggy, and if a bunch of guys in your area have 1/8 buggies and you show up with one of these then sure you're gonna be able to do things their buggies can't. Idk I'm probably just stuck in the mindset of run equal equipment as others. To me it's like showing up to a trail with a fully loaded side by side when all your friends have ATV's.

Just doesn’t make very much sense corally made a bigger buggy and that is it it’s just bigger it’s not really meant to be compared to 1/8th scale buggies.

Real capable vehicle… wow! I think that upper arm breaking was a fluke. You didn’t do anything to pull an arm through the pin!! Probably a bubble in the plastic… one tiny bubble can make a large piece fail…

Not a big fan of the buggies for bashing. Couple things to unpack here. Buggies have the shortest arms and usually are the toughest because of it. You said just before your running footage how it all looked beefed up and tied together up front and how the arms looked durable. Then to see it fail so fast without any real reason... disconcerting to say the least. Buggies aren't meant for bashing and to do these crossover rigs doesn't make since to me. Especially the larger ones. I see it as the El Comino of RC, ok at a few things but not great at anything. It's a slow buggy that cant bash as good as a basher. TC are improving for sure each generation but the Kagama, spark, and this arent't impressing me enough to get me to buy.

  • @RazorRC

1/7 buggy is kind of a weird thing, but it drives so good that I think it will become my goto basher.
