    i love this coach , he's super humble. normally these traditional weightlifting coaches have kinda stigma that look down bodybuilders or powerlifters thinking they're lessers than weightlifters , but he acknowledges all the difference and give them respects.

    Very interesting video, thanks. Horsepower (hp) is a unit of measurement of power, or the rate at which work is done, usually in reference to the output of engines or motors (our human body is a machine). although humans are not "really" a machine the principles stay the same (newtons law) to increase ones strenght, he must make the engine bigger, by increasing its force (more HP).

    #1 Superior Coaches/Trainers, Training Techniques etc. #2 Superior Knowledge and Doctors for PEDs and Hormones etc. #3 Best Athletes in Country go specifically to the sport they are built for. Unlike other countries such as the US where the best athletes play NFL, NBA etc. #4 Chinese are Chinese. Their bloodlines aren’t tainted like other countries. Chinese weightlifters are built the same for the most part. Which means training techniques equate to way more of them versus different techniques needed for every athlete etc in US. #5 Government Funded. They get the best equipment. Best recovery. Best food. Best everything. So much more advanced in every aspect compared to other countries. #6 It goes on and on. China rules the lighter weight classes. That’s how Chinese are built. They aren’t built to be 6’5 350lbs. They rule both men’s and women’s up to a certain weight. Then crickets. Like Russia used to run 85kg and above in the past. Russians are built bigger, they use more power versus technique. Chinese lifts are the most beautiful lifts in the world. They are both powerful but their technique is perfection. Example Lu… the sexiest lifts of all time. Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East are all up there… but China is Weightlifting Royalty.

    #3 is innacurate. Should be: US where people play sports if they want, and where athletes that aren't the best don't make it to the professional level. The best athletes dont necessarily go to sports people are willing to pay to see either

  • @trtnec

    "#4 Chinese are Chinese. Their bloodlines aren’t tainted like other countries" is also extraordinarily factually incorrect. Anybody who studies genetics knows how genetically diverse China is, being an enormously vast land mass containing 1.3 billion people of multiple ethnicities. The elite taller Chinese athletes end up dominating other sports that China traditionally cares about such as badminton. This is as nearly as silly as comparing Kenyan athletes (best distance runners on Earth, worst sprinters on Earth) to athletes of West African slave ancestry (best sprinters on Earth, worst long distance) and saying "they're all black and from Africa so they're genetically similar".

    They still do more bodybuilding style than most other weight lifting systems. They usually do 2 or 3 bodybuilding style movements at the end of each session which may not seem like a lot to them but it is still more than most teams.

    @@timothydean9407 first of all, I didn’t say mark’s opinion completely fits. Second, Shi has been training in his whole life, the level of muscle mind connection and understanding of the movement is superior. Plus he has been in great shape before the muscle memory is still there, that’s why he can still pull up that performance. But that doesn’t prove the point ‘technique over strength’ cuz if your stronger, you’ll lift more.

  • @stanleysheng3224

    @stanleysheng3224

    2 жыл бұрын

    其实不应该这么说,术业有专攻,健美追求的是肌肥大,对于各个肌群的孤立训练来刺激全身肌肉生长,那些专业健美运动员的深蹲硬拉水平也是很高的。但是肌肥大会导致柔韧性严重下降所以健美运动员可能无法做出柔韧性要求极高的举重动作。但是人家完全练的就不一样,一个讲求运动表现,烤重量定输赢,另一个讲求舞台展现,靠打分判高下。邵教练也在视频里说了,论肌肉大小举重运动员是没法跟健美选手比的。

    @@jostchen 其实从健康角度来说自然健美是最养生的,因为健美的高次数低重量训练对关节韧带的冲击相对较小,而孤立的局部动作又可以强化相应关节附近肌肉群,从而起到保护作用。举重训练的大重量训练对关节韧带冲击很大,另外技术要求非常高,新手在动作不娴熟理解不深的情况下很容易里受伤。但是举重对于爆发力的帮助会有助于运动表现,这也是为什么几乎所有的田径运动员以及橄榄球选手的训练中都会加入一些相应的举重训练,最普遍的是高翻(power clean)
