Love the direction of having the thunder strike when John finishes reciting what he wrote at the end. As if God/Jesus was saying "Now that, is thunder John!"

Amen I love their use of thunder in this scene!!
So beautiful, John’s passion channeled. He looks back on the good times as inspiration for the start of his Gospel, then smiles thinking of the better times ahead to be reunited with Jesus forever.
Every time I hear or read John 1:1-5 I feel the Yeshua comforting my broken soul.
I love when Jesus said “And it is a favorite memory” He was there when God created everything, or He Himself created everything😂😢 1:00

Thank you for explaining that line. It finally makes sense
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Light ALWAYS overcomes darkness! "Let there be Light" in our lives! Let us bring that light to the world.
Just watched this episode with my wife. This is really well done. I love the way they put the words of Genesis 1 and John 1 parallel with each other and flash forward. Simply beautiful.
As a person who loves words and language in general, this scene lifted up the meaning of Word to me. It made me tear up! John was so lucky!!! But I’ll have my own chance to be with The Word someday. And I KNOW now that he knows and sees me!
This is the scene that always makes me tear up. Its so powerful. I can feel Jesus' presence throughout this scene. Him teaching John, is him teaching me. 😊😂 HE IS THE WORD OF LIFE. WITHOUT HIM, I WOULDN'T BE HERE AND THE WORLD AND ALL OF US WOULD BE USELESS 😢😢😢😢😂 JESUS CHRIST IS THE LIGHT OF LIFE. HE GAVE ME LIFE AND MADE ME HIS PRIZED POSSESSION! 😢😢😢 Everyday and everytime i walk through darkness, he says to me " Im right here my son!"
I dunno why I cry but the verse is so powerful you can feel it

One Of My Favourite Scenes…..Absolutely Awesome!
My favourite bible verse
Proverbs 8:22-35 22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; 31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. 32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. now compare this Scripture from the Old Testament to this Scripture from the New Testament: John 1:1-18 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Colossians 1:15-17 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Hebrews 1:2-3 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Glory to the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God!
As you can see, God introduce Himself in from the first Genesis. He is the Father, He is the Spirit, He is the Word/Jesus. He is YHWH / I AM / ADONAI.
❤❤❤❤
John was at the cross with Jesus. He seemed ready to be arrested and even killed just by being there. John really followed Christ to the cross. I’d like to think the Lord allowed John to die of old age because of his great faith.

@@annmarie8885I agree. I always found it interesting that he was the only male disciple to not leave him, even at the cross and the only one to stay did not die a martyr’s death like the rest, and he gave him discernment to write revelation
Esp love the parallel that says IN the BEGINNING, and how when Jesus says God called the light day, John said how the darkness cant overcome it. Merry Christmas!

Wanted to let you know what a incredible impact you all have made as presenting God's amazing gospel and this has encouraged nit only me but my family and friends we all can5 wait to see the next episode although this last one will be hard to watch. I got “In Principio / Erat Verbum” tattooed on my wrists in 2009. This scene hit me HARD.
The Word is God's speech!
como podre tener esta relacion en español?
Why in the recitation of Genesis 1:1-3 the Holy Spirit covering the Abyss is omitted? Instead it says and the darkness covered the face of the deep.
John was a Poet
Some individuals need proof that God is real, Jesus is the son of God, how’s the all things come together. Ink is I was one of them. It wasn’ taught as a child, I rarely went to church. When I did I did not listen, nor did I understand. I was in my 20s, though from time to time how the Bible was possibly. I wasn’t one to ask questions, because the Bible can be twisted into so many meanings. I didn’t know who to ask. I was in my early 30’s my best friend/ex-husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday, my reply “I wanted to go to church.” It was a feeling that I had inside, something pulling me in a way I had never felt, if I had I pasted it off. I do not need proof I know and believe without a doubt that was God calling, reaching out to me, one day I dropped to my knees and listened. When I have a loss of words I listen, God will show me!!!
Did you know that in John 1:1-3, there are different Greek words for both Gods mentioned? The Word, Jesus, (Λόγος or Logos), was with God (Θεόν, or Theon). The Word was God (Θεὸς, or Theos). He, Jesus, was in the beginning with God (Θεόν, Theon). Even though these are different cases of the same word, they are nevertheless differentiated. Satan was also called θεὸς, or Theos at 2 Corinthians 4:4. Is Satan also God? Don’t know Greek? Neither do I. Let’s break this down a little further shall we? In the beginning was the word (Jesus, Son of God), and the word (Jesus, Son of God) was with God (Almighty God, God the Father), and the word (Jesus, Son of God) was God (Almighty God, God the Father)? No matter how you put it, it doesn’t make sense!! What does make sense is that Jesus, being in the beginning with God (Genesis 1:26, John 1:1), in fact being God’s very first creation (Colossians 1:15, Proverbs 8:22, Revelation 3:14), actually calls God his God and worships God the Father. (Revelation 3:12, John 20:17)

Anything to confuse people huh 🤣 anyone who is truly born again knows when idols or satan was called “God” was to point out how people committed IDOLATRY.

@@FlockOfYahweh I apologize. I’m not trying to confuse anyone. I am just trying to share another perspective. For example: Jesus isn’t God, nor equal to God. He called our God and Father his God and Father at John 20:17. See also: 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 4 Now concerning the eating of food offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world and that there is no God but one. 5 For even though there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,” 6 there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him. And…… John 17:3 “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” The only true God…..
