Winston learnt very quickly but I think that's because he had Pablo to learn from

Omg I can't believe how quickly Winston picked it all up! And he is so sassy waiting for confirmation you have a treat before sitting! That is some serious intelligence. And Pablo pushing his bum down melted me. Such a good big brother helping his little brother out! 😍

Pablo is a sweetheart. He is a well trained dignified dog.Winston is still small but a fast learner. In no time he will be just like Pablo.lots of love for both of them.God bless dem.I too have a cute pug in India with me frm 7 yrs.

When Winston was into it, he learned so fast it was a little frightening. Great work Mr. Little. And great work to your teacher's aid as well: THAT PUG PABLO!

All you pug parents out there, how many commands/tricks can your pugs do?? Our pug Bernie can do, I think 17 different ones. Pugs, like most dogs are very food focused. Also, Pablo touching Winston's butt, I laughed so hard. It's like he's trying to make him sit.

Every time Winston would sit I’d say ‘Awwwww.’ I’m kinda like a dog myself, in that way. Nice ‘help’ from big brother there too!

They both have beautiful personalities .....Pablo the calm smart one, and Winston the mischievous one. They both are adorable

@NICK_DA _WASTED_PUG my pug had probloms barking at other dogs until she passed. I would keep treats on me tell her to sit and give her a treat it helped alot but didnt fix it 100% but she was 12 when i tried it maybe you will have better luck!

I dont know what to say that probably hasn’t been said! That was freakin adorable!! Especially watching Pablo get tired of Winston not listening fast enough lol!! I’m glad would you quit when you did because you know Winston is probably the equivalent of a two-year-old and their attention span is about two minutes long LOL

Good video. It was hard to tell from the editing. It appeared Pablo would "sit" early when you were teaching Winston and did not get a treat. Also, occasionally you would say "sit down" instead of "sit". We teach "down" as a separate command. The visual signal is placing your palm flat on the floor. For sit, the hand signal is a closed hand toward the dog and above their head (like the treat is in the closed hand). When 2 dogs are present, we say the dog's name, then the command. It is important that both animals get about the same amount of attention and treats when training together. Your session went very well. I think you could command Pablo to sit immediately after he has done it on his own and give him a treat to help with his understanding of "sit".

Every time he sits reward him. Even if u didn't tell him to sit. If he does it for the treat reward him. Then work the words in after he gets the concept

Hey Pablo way to go how to be good big brother helping your little brother like that!!!!!

Hi, I had a pug 10 years ago and I taught him a lot of tricks and there is something that realy works fast when you are teaching them. Try to use diferent signals in your hand for each moviment that you want, like one finger to seat, an open hand when you want them to stay and wait and etc. Good luck with your dogs, they are very beautiful.

Oh my gosh, Pablo "pushing" Winston's behind down to sit, so adorable! Heard from a couple of dog trainers that pugs are actually easier to train because of that bottomless pit of a stomach they have so with enough food on your hands everything is possible :D ..also, "very clever, you know what to do: paw!..that's, that's a face Winston, nevermind.." had a good laugh there

Just wasn't sure how or when to give them treats .. now I know!

"No...YOU SIT!!"

The moment when Pablo put his paw on Winston's back in and help them sit down was absolutely adorable and hysterical at the same time. Carl the only thing I noticed with Winston is that when he is making eye contact with you he definitely sits down on the First Command when distracted and looking elsewhere, I noticed that's when you have to say it more than once, just an observation.

Getting his attention is the hardest part, Pablo is great help in teaching but also a big distraction for him, training in short bursts from now on when he's interested :)
