Awesome video! Physically going over the controls with any new rider is so important, no matter how much experience they have on other off road vehicles, I'm glad you included that in the video.

You are a Very Patient Person!!! With my wife the Lake was perfect to teach her Speed, then once we hit the Trails she did pretty awesome, once she got the Feel for Turns, the amount of power was her biggest fear, she did great kept up with us over 40 miles the First Trail Ride!!

Taught my lady this year too! What a blast! We are hitting a horrible draught here in CA, had 160 miles this year. Not enough to break in the new sled. The only upside this year was riding with the lady. Have fun out there!

I got my 11 year old daughter riding my 2016 m8, 162 3" paddle, all kids of mods. She loves it! She looks funny riding it considering how small she is on it! I started her doing some wheelies on it last weekend!

Keep riden with the girlies, love it! She'll be off trail before you know it😍😜😊

Good for her. And good for you. I got my wife riding about three winters ago now and it was the best thing ever. Going out with the guys is fun but it’s way more fun going with her.

Awesome video. I took my 8 year old into Renshaw once, thinking the long trail alone would be enough for him. When we finally got there I asked him , well? Do you wanna head back or keep riding? With a tone of disgust, he responded NO! Of course not, I wanna keep riding! Lmao. Alrighty Then!!

4 strokes are fantastic for new riders. The biggest bonus is that it's very hard to overheat them in the conditions you were in.

Yeah! I'm definitely considering a 4 stroke for a trail sled. That way, can just cruise at a low rmp around the country-side

That's awesome dude...taught wife to quad a few years ago...(live in Grande cache)..came to big ditch...she wanted to try it (she has guts..lol) told her she had to give it some gas...SHE DID...over backwards...lol...she was fine...quad was a little banged up....great fun....

Took my girlfriend out she has never ridden anything Motorsport related. Was timid and slowly started to get it. She took over the modern sled and I was relegated to old school sled. Now she wants to get her own machine. You did well with her

Great to hear! I've tought a few people so I know how overwhelming it can be. Yup! They guys always end up on the old POS when the GF starts coming along 😆

My girlfriend had alot of experience with me riding 2 up. We would take my Pantera 7000xt limited off trail riding 2up. Lol. Then when she was ready to ride herself she had a good idea how it all works.

Gloves are a make or break thing man I bought a new pair and they were slippery on the grips like 15 mins in my hands were so sore from squeezing so hard they were cramping up

I just had my first failed attempt, my guy expects me to go over snowbanks and says it common sense. Feeling pretty shitty tbh. Coz I fell of the sled and he thinks I am over reacting for crying. I wish I meet a patient rider willing to teach someone who is never been on a dirt bike or any machines before. I don’t want to give up I put way too much investment into this for someone to tell me this is not for me. I don’t know what to do. I just will pray to meet a group or a patient teacher but if I don’t by the end of this season, I will sell it. Thank you for being kind and supportive to her. I hope to attract that kind of energy too

That's a Rogue Concepts one.

I still say beginners should start off riding vintage sleds. air cooled, so no overheating if you don't throw enough snow, not so much power that they freak a new rider out, and the old single cylinder sleds are easy to start too.

My gf wasn't on a bike or sled before at all. first time out buried it second time out flipped it on herself she was ok but she was driving faster then your gf she has learned her limits and has gotten alot better.

You should really try a 2 or 3 inch handlebar riser, you will have a lot more control over your alpha. 4 inch riser plus 2 inch on the handlebar is way too high for your length.

@@syxxes BTW, my girl used to be slow AF, would barely ever hit 40. A few days ago she hit 70+. Just takes time! Great content btw, want to try a long track boy above the tree line at some point.

My wife is never going to get near my sleds. It would scare her to dead the speeds and throttle acceleration.
