Thank you for your support. In my opinion, T.E.F.L is more suitable for a person/teacher who wants to teach English to second language learners. While, P.T.E and I.E.L.T.S are language proficiency exams that determine ones English abilities. Therefore, if you want an exam to prove your English language skills, then I.E.L.T.S. is highly recommended and recognized worldwide.

Yes Harold, non-native teachers can apply to teach English in the UAE. However, an English proficiency certificate must accompany the teaching degree.

I refused an offer for 17000AED . Money definitely not everything!
