Unlocking basic techniques is what makes me keep coming back to this. Even though its tiring, its so fun for a beginner

I just wanted to say thank you very much for these videos. I just had my second day on a snowboard and at the young age of 46 ha ha I linked some turns today and it feels great. Thank you so much Kevin.

Great! It's never too late for us. I am turning 40 this year and had my first day today and I lost count of how many times I fall plus a bruise on my knee but I never gave up and finally I got the feel of it. Heading for 2nd day. lol And if you happen to be in Italy (I live in the Italian preAlps and Alps is not far from where I am located, feel free to have me as your test subject :) )

I do, because I just started trying switch turns. My brain was resisting those first toe-side turns something fierce, especially trying to start the turn properly by knee-steering, not just flinging the back leg around.

I am happy for him seeing he can do the toe turn, coz, I am just be the same as him cannot do the toe turn😢. It turned out that I was trying to do the toe turn from the left side and failed all the time as I am regular and my previous instructions is the goofy one😅

He was putting weight on his back foot, and whenever he started to lose balance, he twisted his waist and back foot around to turn and brake. He should put weight on his front foot and let the back foot follow the flow of the board, right?

Why do you have to go right foot in front? Can you not go left foot first when learning if it feels more comfortable?

Are you goofy stance (right foot forward) or regular stance (Left foot forward). Do what's comfortable for you... if you're learning from someone whose the opposite stance than you just reverse the shoulders/leg instructions

Stand with your feet slightly apart and have someone give you a hard push backwards. Whatever food you step back with to keep from falling backwards is the foot you should ride back.on snowboard. Foot that stays in place will be your front foot on snowboard. Some people are comfortable on both ( reg or goofy).

@Herbsy420 this. Except thats advice for the young guys lol. I'm still a beginner. I bought a board because the house was going out of business. Everything was 70% off. I knew it was a stiff camber board. But I loved the battle angel anime art work. People were like don't worry. If you can ride that you can ride anything. But honestly I'm tired of eating shit all the time.

He’s trying to throw his waist around. He should control with toe and heel pressure and point where he wants to go. He’s throwing his turns hard and shouldn’t keep this habit.
