    Lol to be fair easy power it pulls itself, I learned manual with my toyota 86 I had to move a friend's 17 5.0 and it literally just pulls itself lol

    Just got my Civic Si without ever driving a manual! Got it on Sunday and had to drive to work Monday morning! Best way to learn is under pressure I guess lol

    Btw learning to drive manual in this car is very easy, the clutch is heavier than most cars but since it has a lot of torque it’ll go into first without the throttle if you let off slowly and in the rest of the gears it’s like butter.

    Get you one :) You'll be good in no time. Just remember to rev match when you downshift. Heel/toe stuff can be learned later.

    I actually bought one with out knowing how to drive it about a month ago. Drove stick for the first time ever on the day I bought it. It's super fun to drive around once you get the hang of it.

    Love the content! It’s funny, because I bet no one can say that know how to drive a column gear shifter in old Falcon. That thang was a beaut with this bright red, but that’s one of the most complicated sequences to learn 🤣

    This is just me but what helped me learn manual was actually a sim racer. Sure it's nothing like actually being in the driver's seat but it can help you get comfortable shifting gears and using clutch. At least I think it helped me. Anyway

    I'm working on teaching my boys how to drive my 16 GT PP, but they are just hesitant to drive around a lot. These cars are just so easy to drive, but then I've been driving manuals for over 35 yrs.

    @@ivanaldaz9811 yes. Already have over 1800 miles on it haha. Absolutely love it. No idea why I didn't buy a manual sooner. I had a 2014 V6 auto before this... (believe me I know) but now I literally get hyped to drive it just getting off work.

    @@ivanaldaz9811 i sat in a parking lot for an afternoon and stalled it, spun the tires because I let off the clutch too fast, I just kept driving in circles until I felt confident enough to take it on the road. It becomes second nature. You actually feel what your car is doing. Shifting gears is like scratching an itch. It's just something you do. Your car starts to shake if it revs to high,, is chugs if it needs a downshift.. I'm already revmatching 4 weeks in. You will absolutely love it 100%. But if you have a friend that can lend you their car I say go that route. I had to learn with 460 hp. But I don't regret getting one at all. Let me know if you decide to get one and how your learning.

    Just got a 2019 mustang gt with a stick. Same color as this but with the blackout pack...love it. I’m new to shifting gears and struggle with good launching. I’m fine with slow rolling starts but when I’m trying to get on it I suck and feel like I’m riding my clutch to much.

    J'dan Vaughn I have the active exhaust and it’s impressive for stock. Especially when in track mode. I may do an X pipe down the road to get a little louder. That being said it’s pretty loud. My buddy has a 2015 gt with H pipe and CAI and mine is still louder.

    I just bought a 2019 5.0 with a 6spd and it’s my first manual too so this video hits right at home lmao today my pops and I did a few lessons and within about 30 mins I was out on the road. 4:00-8:30 minute mark is exactly what I was having trouble with always thinking I need to put the clutch in to roll into stops or turns but this was extremely helpful man you came in clutch 🤣

    @@SirenS550 or you get a pair of balls learn how to drive manual like a man, and enjoy your car until the wheels fall off. Really how enjoyable is a car when all you do is is step on the gas. Throw an extra mod or two and beat the auto. Leave the auto for the kids

    Every driver experienced or not will struggle for the first few times of clutch release because the bite point, clutch pedal weight and pedal travel is different with every car. I’m highly experienced and daily drive my manual gt and almost stalled one of my friends cars the other day. Just takes practice that’s all.

    I stalled my new Bullitt as I was driving it off the dealer's lot. I have 20 years of experience driving manual transmission cars almost exclusively as daily drivers. I have not stalled my Bullitt since.

    Had to sell my coyote because as a daily in michigan winters it wasn't pratical. I surely miss rowing gears and hearing the exhaust man, Currently shopping for something thats decent in winter, thinking Taurus SHO, or a boat charger w/ the 8 speed lol

    You do the new 10 speed automatic will eat up the standard? I have a new 2019 with every option you can get. It’s a screamer! I’ve already blown away several standards. My dealer told me the same about the automatic, it’s wraps out so fast!

    I don t want to be a hater but how the hell could you possibly having a 460 HP rear wheel drive car manual shift if you don t even know how to use a manual shift? That s really weird to me. Is it related to the fact that you guys in the US can obtain your driving license using an automatic car? That s kind from you to teach it tho 👍

    Yes, most people drive autos here and a large number don’t know how to work a manual. It’s much different than countries abroad where manual is still very popular and sometimes even preferred over auto.

    What kind of botched dyno are you using to get 475 to the rear wheels on a stock GT. Ford claims 460 at the crank, but it's usually lower and 380rwhp to the rear wheels.

    @@StefBelgium isn't the lower horse power just in the areas with left handed drive. I know Ford got super lazy and just moved the steering column over. Then everything in its way, like the exhuast manifold got shrunk to fit.

    Love hearing Americans talking about driving a manual like it's some incredible feat to master 😂 It's made really easy with new cars these days and all the features they have to help you. Now that cars restart themselves if you stall them when you press the clutch in I swear my ex girlfriend used to just incorporate stalling into her driving like it was a normal thing and she never improved. You are only a good manual driver when you can hop in any old banger and drive it away smoothly off the bat, I think people new to manual should practice in old shit cars.

    Not exactly what I meant but if he’s pulling up to a light that turns green per say he doesn’t need to completely stop the car and get back on it. He can get back into first if he’s not completely stopped.

    At Ford quality is job none! My 2021 Mustang GT premium was a big lemon. I could live with the cheap plastic interior and glitchy electronics but the clucky garbage 6 speed manual transmission was just garbage! I'm not the only one who thinks so, look at the class action that has been launched against Ford. Fortunately I was able to sell it and buy a real car from another manufacturer. It's no wonder Ford stopped building cars...I'll never buy another Ford...EVER!

    Because if you're saving up for a dream car, getting new clutch after the fact is a hell of a lot cheaper than buying and insuring a whole other car, even if it's cheap beater.
