You NEVER put a child on a motorbike without a helmet, even if the possibility of anything happening is extremely low. Would you hand him a gun that you are 95% sure doesn't have bullets in it? Hopefully you answered 'No'. There are some things you just don't do, including putting a child on a bike without a helmet.

I’m sorry. That’s irresponsible. “He’s perfectly fine, I got him.” I really hope he didn’t actually give it some gas. I know he’s probably a good guy, good father…. but ignorance is not an excuse. I’m an ER nurse. The things I’ve seen happen to babies and young children when their loving father took them on a”quick ride” (Motorcycle, 4 wheeler, dirt bike, tractor, and even a lawn mower) will haunt me for the rest of my life. I will have nightmares for the rest of my life. Many times the father was completely unharmed. And Truthfully that was the worst part. I have a strong stomach and I’m obviously desensitized to gruesome things. But seeing a loving father after accidentally killing his precious child just trying to have “a little fun”…. with nothing but good intentions…. well there’s not really words to explain it. You will never see someone so broken…. It’s tangible, you can feel it, you can feel their soul breaking into a million pieces. I apologize, not trying to be a buzzkill. But it happens. Just don’t be stupid people. I hope you just rolled the bike a few feet and then put the kid down, handed him to his mother or something.

If this doesn’t convince u watch the millions of videos of motorcyclists getting into horrible accidents and having horrible injuries :,) teach ur child the right procedures maybe? FYI, you're filming yourself breaking the law. Under PA 93-292 in Connecticut, passengers under 18 must be wearing a helmet that meets federal standards! You're making no effort to hide who you are, so anyone here can report you to the police with this video evidence and land you a fine. Just sayin'...
