Sitting with one of the greatest tight ends to play the game, a super bowl champion and projected first ballot hall of famer…Travis Kelce shares with Ryan, Channing and Fred how his contributions in the sport are just hitting stride and his legacy is still a work in progress.
With the NFL post season underway and the Chiefs have the number one seed, Travis says if the team plays flawless football as they are capable of- no team is beating them. Under the leadership of MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes, Travis shares why there is no one more cut out to lead a team than his quarterback and certainly no one more talented to play under center than #15 and that playing for Coach Andy Reid is one of the most motivating and rewarding experiences of the right end’s life. Being a part of this special unit, Travis credits the younger guys on the team for stepping up in unexpected roles this season and admits anything less than Kansas City winning a Super Bowl is a disappointment, but respects the road ahead with tough teams to face in Cincinnati and Buffalo.
Always a family first mentality and having his older brother Jason to look up to, Travis credits his close bond with the Philadelphia Eagles star as his motivation to be the best version of himself on and off the field. Travis talks about his life transitions from being suspended at college to putting in the work to reflect and reevaluate his path to everything finally clicking for him as a player leaving behind behaviors that may have derailed his All Pro career.

Amen. As a Bills fan I still enjoy seeing other great players and teams just because im a fan of the sport period. Kelce and Mahomes are just another level of talented and like Brady, I hate them when they play us but can still respect them as accomplished players and I hope one day we will be holding the trophy in February

The Show is called The Pivot. Glad Fred seems to always ask the guest what was their pivot. Everyone has at least one moment in the life were they either gave up, stayed in the same place or situation or made a u turn or direction. So never give up or allow someone/people to condemn, keep you down or accept you giving up. God allow u turns.

That was one of the greatest podcast I’ve ever seen. It was awesome in the material covered and how the transitions were executed. I remember when Kelce first joined the Chiefs. His talent was evident but the space between his ears needed work. I was glad that Andy stuck it out with him and they both worked to make him better. Travis is one of the greatest and in a couple more years will be the GOAT.
The conversation always flows and seems effortlessly comfortable. Very insightful discussions every time. I’m from Boston so I’m biased to saying Gronk the best TE ever, I still think Gronk at his peak had the best 4/5 year TE run. But the fact that Kelce been doing it for such a longer period of time of dominance is hard to argue against. Dude’s a beast and seems like a great guy as well. Not a Chiefs fan but definitely a Travis Kelce fan and especially a fan of the Pivot. Another great podcast episode. Dope content again

One of my favorite players of all time as a Chiefs fan. Travis was my favorite player on the team until Mahomes but with Mahomes as 1a Travis is 1B. As someone who loved Gonzalez it’s been incredible to be able to have a guy of Kelces ability on the team. It’ll be a day of mourning when Kelce hangs it up someday. Hopefully we can have him for another 5+ years because I love him. When it’s clutch time and a play has to be made Kelce is unstoppable.
Man I love my boy TK although he on Chiefs and we still rocking Cincy we all still love him! Bc he’s real and we relate like that.. glad he got his opportunity and to you youngsters just study Trav’s story if you on the fence.. think he almost didn’t make it through college and was a HS QB.. things are possible with dedication, structure, discipline and humble hard work!!
