173. Hidden Pearls Podcast - Travis Kelce

Спорт

Tight End University's first ever Player of the Year Award goes to.... Travis Kelce!!!
Travis has always been larger than life in the Tight End world. It was an honor to host him at George's barn for this show. We filmed this episode a few weeks after TEU so it was really great to reflect on how special year 3 was for everyone involved.
In this episode you'll hear about Travis' story of finding freedom through football, brotherly love, and trust with Andy Reid in Kansas City's system. We get into what it was like growing up in the Kelce household with his brother Jason, and how Travis has navigated staying true to himself through this different stages of his career.
The power of the Kelce brother's love is showcased in their podcast New Heights and was on display for the world to see in this year's Super Bowl. Through his family's love and support, Travis has developed into a football powerhouse that is rewriting the game.
We hope you enjoy the show!

This was a great podcast. I’m 61 and I just started following football the past few years as a way to bond with my father who is passionate about the Chiefs. The more I learn about the players and their lives the more I want to watch the game. I’m enjoying the game for sure but mostly, I’m cheering on the players and enjoying watching them achieve their goals and ambitions. And Mr Kittle, I agree the RBs and TE are not being paid near enough!

This Travis Kelce is a natural star. He has that internal light that the great entertainers and politicians have. It's pretty cool that it's shining out of a super talented Tight End from Cincinnati.

Oh god, to hear Kittle say about what must have been one of Travis’s proudest moments - and by the way he killed - that Jason stole the show at SNL, must have been like the moment the coach (Vermeil?) at the Super Bowl gave an inspiration talk and had Travis stand up and then said, Your brother is the hardest playing dude. I’d take him in a minute. Travis said he sat down and knew then he’d never be better than Jason. So Kittle had to say that about what Travis had to hustle to get on and Jason just followed onto the show. And Travis never seems jealous of him at all.

i dont normally listen but I have to say I have the utmost respect for all of you this podcast was so inspirational to feel the true depth of passion each one of you have not only for football and your love of playing but the incredible depth of emotion that you can physically feel listening to you talk about helping children who wouldnt have that opportunity to be positive in a way they can be learning literacy a trade and having a positive impact on their lives to be proud of their accomplishments and helping them search in their inner being to set goals that are attainable because nowadays parents dont give the children the positive encouraging influence and its not because they are bad its because they have to work so much to support them feed them and they are tired i know i did it its hard nowadays .I really needed to see this because it gave me a new perspective and respect for all of you that you would take the time and not just donate money but actually spend time with them and mentor to them.Stay humble God bless
