Te Reo advocate says to give Te Reo our all

Last week saw the first parliamentary reading of Pita Sharples' controversial Māori language bill - at its core is the recognition of iwi aspirations. So how does that actually translate to the people? Scotty Morrison catches up with Ngāti Kahungunu's Jeremy Tātere MacLeod.

    e tika ana te kōrero kia kaha kia māia kia manawanui i te ako te reo māori ae its not easy to learn māori otherwise everyone would be able to kōrero māori but listening to these two very fluent speakers say they had there ups and downs and little struggles with learning reo is very inspiring because i think a lot of learners have these challenges with grammar and constructing sentences very inspiring to hear this, this has given me a boost to haere tonu i te ako i te reo māori kōrero māori i te ao i te po ia ra ia ra
