Thanks guys !! You have inspired me to do the Waikanae to Wellington section of Te Araroa. I’ll have to break it up into smaller sections. I’m 68 with one hip replaced and the other needing replacement so no pack carrying. I’m feeling super excited about it. 😁 So again thank you. 😘

Oh wow thanks for reminding me of my hometown! ( Well I’m from Lower Hutt, but more or less my hometown!) Living in Ireland these days but I try get home every couple of years and smash the backcountry huts and tracks. We are very fortunate in NZ with our outdoor lifestyle. I miss Welly, thanks for sharing your adventures!

Thankyou so much for watching! We love Welly! Spent a year living there when we first got to New Zealand, so it definitely holds a special place in our hearts! We miss it too, very keen to get back to NZ one day💗 Ireland looks beautiful though too!

You walked past my house which is on the TA and backs onto Those trails in the town belt are my morning stroll. Really nice videos

No way! It's such a beautiful spot, we used to live in Welly for a year before hiking the trail, so used to use the town belt as 'training' on the weekends😅 Such a great place to live, we miss it! Thankyou so much for watching🥰💗
