    This is pretty cool to this popped up on my Feed. I remember when this movie was filmed. I lived in the same exact neighborhood I was 23 years old. We were living in my ex-wife's mother-in-law Cottage in the backyard. And some guys came up and knock on our door. Said they were Scouting For movie location stuff. For a movie called The Sandlot. And they asked us because we had the perfect amount of yard with a canopy of trees over it. If they can set up their catering there for two weeks while they shot at the baseball field in our neighbor Hood. They would be there from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. every day and the let us have a meal and give us $100 a day. I will say it was a nice $1,400 bonus. But the Mother-in-law could not figure out why her thriving grass was being trampled everyday. so yeah then we waited for the movie to come out. It's so crazy what Hollywood can do when they cut and chop because it did not look like our neighborhood at all you are a very astute detective to pick all this stuff out. anyway I thought this was a cool Vlog I just wanted to comment on my experience.

    So watching your vlogs these last few times and you seem to be hitting all the movie/tv filming locations. It dawned on me. If you come to the Phoenix area, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was mostly filmed in this area. In fact, my husband, kids, and I spent a day a few years back going to all the locations. If you're interested let us know and we can point you in the right direction. Woobraham Lincoln would sure enjoy it! Party on DUDE!😉😂

    Hey Adam, one thing I thought to suggest when doing the shots back to the movie would be to show the location as you stand now, cut to the movie scene for a seconds, and then cut back to the spot once again. I find myself rewinding back to double check the area a little bit. Sometimes more than once. I think doing a cut in, cut out, cut back in, could let viewers digest the comparison a little bit. Just an idea!

    I think he's editing on the iPhone, so that would be a lot of work fussy work to use clips instead of stills. I'm impressed he's been able to insert the stills and drone footage with dissolves in and out. Thats a fair bit of work in itself.

  • @HkSniper

    @HkSniper

    7 жыл бұрын

    Really, you're going to get all passive aggressive on this? It's as simple as a couple extra seconds of editing. Have a still shot of the scene as it is today. A still shot of the scene during the film. Back to the still shot of the scene today. It's not that difficult. Amazing how you can just pass off a simple little suggestion to someone and someone else has to come and try to step all over it.

  • @HkSniper

    @HkSniper

    7 жыл бұрын

    And no cost required. Just literally a few seconds of extra time in editing. Easily done with whatever editing software is being completed. But then again, I should have no need to explain it to you. It was an idea. A suggestion. Not a demand. Stow the attitude.

    I really love your KZread channel, but I absolutely LOVE this vlog the most!!! We learned this past summer/fall your love of baseball, taking us along with you to the games. My kids were raised watching The Sand Lot. My oldest son passed before he was 8 years old so he didn't get to see it. He did live the sand lot though (it's a little different), every day after school & during summer he would gather his friends & whoever to play baseball with him at the park. He had 2 younger brothers (he never got to meet them), one didn't like baseball and the youngest did, he loved it! Anyway we all loved this movie so much, great vlog!!!!! 🌼
