I just ordered this game. I remember reading about these Italian commandos in Wm. McRaven's book "Spec Ops" many years ago. Fascinating stuff.

I love watching your reviews. You always bring games that I would normally not even give a second look to. Keep doing what you do!

I would be 100% keen if you wanted to talk more history in these wargame videos, I had to pause to immediately read up on Human Torpedoes. Its all so damn interesting.

Yeah. I kind of got buyers remorse a little bit. I'll make it work. I'll get back to it someday.

I think there is a lot of good stuff here, but after Castle Itter, it was a bit of a letdown.

@@TheDiscriminatingGamer I started as a solo player playing two player games and I was not interested at first in pure solo games. I just didn't think I would like them. then I did a print and play B17, B25, the Lancaster variant and fell down that rabbit hole. got the whole GMT four pack of sub games. got a Amerika bomber, Interceptor Ace. got a bunch more like these on pre-order. This was my first DVG game and more so because of the theme. all the leader games needing expansions, I was probably never going to get any of them. more so now than before because of all the issues they're having with the back of the cards not matching at all from the expansions to the main original decks. Great video as always 👍👍👍👍👍

Do you know Colonial Twilight? If so, am I right that I only see one way for the government to get bases by one card and that's all?

If you're looking for something relatively low complexity that is a still a lot of fun and challenging, you may want to try Memoir '44, or David Thompson's Undaunted Normandy, which is a deck builder/wargame mix. Also, if you can get a couple of other people, check out 1775: Rebellion - A great light four player wargame.
