EGR mess was insane. Upper engine cleaner for the head ports and valve tops might be worth the effort. Loved the mix of fun and business. FMIC time! Yay! :)

how did you end up bolting your dips stick back up? and the 2 earth wires that usally bolt to the factory intake elbow? in the stages of doing the same to mine but not sure were to relocate them. cheers

Hey mate. I fab'd up some 6mm thick aluminium tabs and welded them to the manifold 👍

I have crosscountry top mount , Will this modified manifold still fit ?

It distributes the air into each cylinder more evenly. Some of my ports were dry, whilst others were wet

Tbh I would only do it if you upgrade the turbo and are pushing more power. It obviously won't hurt to do it, and infact will be better for the engine. However, there's tons of td42's out there with stock intake manifolds and no issues

so much better without all that EGR, how many km's on that engine ? mine has 260k, unblocked egr, i assume mine is full of that crap too.

@@house-ofhoon did you notice any difference in economy ? mine is doing around 16L/100 on 33s, everything stock apart from 3inch exhaust and a tune
