TCS SHOCKING MOVE! No Variable Pay for Employees Not Going to Office

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has linked quarterly variable pay out to employees with their attendance in office. Those with less than 60 percent attendance won’t be eligible for the quarterly bonus.
Employees with 75-85 percent work from office attendance will receive 75 percent of their variable pay while those with 60-75 percent attendance will only get 50 percent of their variable pay.

    they are giving 200cr to their CEOs but they are cutting down freshers salary, my sister join tcs in 2010 at 3.2 lakh package and now for entry level roll they are offering 3.4 lakh for freshers in last 14 years this is just increment of only 5% in 14 years

    I don't think the current system will continue for long. There is no reason for having so many employee count with rise of AI and other newer tech. IT employee count will inevitably shrink significantly and we will see hirings increase only in specific localised domains but profits and revenue will continue to increase over the long term will less employees due to newer tech. The days of IT as a employment generator is over.
