Would u recommend this tv for watching sports ? Heard tcl gets a lot of slack for not having good side angles for large gatherings ? Is that so with this tv ?

Hello brother kindly can you confirm if this model has google OS ? Secondly and most importantly are you able to install a vpn app on this tv. Like surfshark vpn etc !! Awaiting your reply thankyou !! Specially i want to know if i can install a vpn on it like we do in our phones then use apps like hbo max that only work if you are connected to usa vpn. As i am not in usa atm.

My only concern would be TCL's longevity /durability/reliability. Will it serve for at least 5 years - that's my question

Panasonic last 10 years plus we were spoiled it the leds and components ie capacitors, leds , chips were built to last.

Fair review, but you could have talked about limitations of the TV, kwani it's a perfect product? What would you have loved to change about it? Umesifu tv from start to finish? Where's the remote? Build quality, sound quality, what's included in the box, price range, improvements from last year's model etc

I bought this tcl 65"c745. Movies and 4k videos from KZread was impressive. But when i was watching football with the green grass background i had problem. When the camera not the ball was moving quickly and the green background was in the screen i was watching vertical bands, it was like i was watching tv behind reilngs, and at one point on the screen there was a circle with 5cm diameter that was more grey than the rest screen. I gave back the tv to the seller in the fifth day after purchase and he gave me other one. The latest tv was better. Is more difficult to recognize these vertical bands but also there are. Now i don't know if i feel ok with my purchase.I recommend to do vertical band test from KZread and other grey led screens test from KZread after tv purchase.

This or Samsung q70a qled? I use my dads q70b and love it for my ps5, these are my 2 options I'm leaning more tcl cus we have only used Samsung all our life and seems tcl has more features such as dolby vision, local dimming, atmos, and brighter apparently

Too bad, TCL C745 is a very good Television

Around the 3:35 mark , the reviewer says “we have 4 HDMIs”. Sounds like a script from product manufacturer. I really dought that this is a non sponsored review. There is no mention of any cons in the whole review. They is no mention about comparable products from competition. Based on these points, I feel the video is just a TCL advertisement rather than a review.

Some minor differences not that much, for example c745 has higher brightness nit values and also has full array local dimming while c735 does have full array local dimming.

AU9000 is DLed and only HDR.. While C745 has loaded of specs DOLBY Atmos/vision, hdr10+FALD QLED.

Nice review. In other reviews I read that there is no anti-glare treatment on the screen which can be a problem (such as bright object reflecting). I Anyway I just ordered the c745 in 55 inches to replace our 10 year old Sony KDL42-W650 which still works brilliantly and will go to another room. I pais 600 EUR in France and TCL is giving back 100 euro after purchase. The Sony with the same specs was just too expensive. Let's hope I won't regret my choices.

We received and tested our TCL 55C745 (600 Euro in France and then a 100 Euro money back offer by TCL but you have to register and it takes up to 11 weeks to get your money back). Pros: - Overall Image perfomance is good but of course coming from a 10 year old Sony 42" LCD it can only be better. - Images coming from 4k HD HDR and Dolby Vision are great and I could not see the diffrence with a Mini LED set. - For Dolby vison content: best to turn off the 'Dolby IQ' auto selection and selecte 'bright' if you want to discard or reduce the movement reduction effect (which we do not like when boosted to high). - TV has modern looks and finish is decent altough the centre stand looks very cheap (not using it). CONs: - It took a bit of fiddling to get the correct image settings, out of the bow color are just not natural enough.. - Standard HD images can look a bit blurry and articifical, perhaps the upscaling is not as good as other TVs. We do not have much 4k content on regular French TV channels so it can be a bit annoying. - Anti-glare: bright object or lamps opposite the screen are clealy visible on screen when watching dark images. Compared to higher end TVs it is really noticeable. I believe the rating is around 45 (mirror is 200) when the best TV are at around 10 to 20. The C845 from our friends is a lot better with anti-glare. - Sound is just ok and not even on par with our 10 year old 42inch Sony. You really need to invest in a sound bar or a decent sound system to optimize the digital TV output signal which is quite good. Conclusion: This is a a TV I would recommend for watching proper 4K content with HDR or Dolby Vision: NETFLIX, APPLE TV, 4K HDR Bluray... or to play games on a next gen console (120 or 140 HZ) in moderatly bright rooms without too much sun or bright lamps opposite the screen. If you can get this TV for a good price then go for it. But if you pay the full price you may be disappointed by its limited upscaling and its poor anti-glare treatement. In all honesty I am not disappointed for the price I paid. But if you have a little bit more budget go for the C845 (MINI LED, better antiglare and audio) and if you have double the budget go for the LG C3 of course.

Google tv is more refined than Vidaa OS, but it depends with your presence. Also remember you can always buy Chromecast with google tv or an apple tv box to use with your television.

Get the U7H or U8H if you can afford either. They are both superior to this TCL model. If you insist on TCL then the Q series or 6 series would be a more viable alternative that can compare with those 2 Hisense models.

I have seen live C845 and i would say that C745 is so close to C845's picture quality and black levels imo are the same that there is no need ro get C845 because of the price difference. C745 is a better choice money wise! 👍 C845 has 2000nits but i would its in some cases too much and colors look washed out.
