Józef Marian Chełmoński (1849 - 1914) was a Polish painter of the realist school with roots in the historical and social context of the late Romantic period in partitioned Poland.
Paul von Ravenstein (1854 - 1938) was a German painter.

Peder Mørk Mønsted (1859 - 1941) was a Danish realist painter.

COMPOSER
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840 - 1893) was a Russian composer of the Romantic period. He was the first Russian composer whose music would make a lasting impression internationally. Tchaikovsky wrote some of the most popular concert and theatrical music in the current classical repertoire, including the ballets Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
The Seasons, Op. 37a is a set of twelve short character pieces for solo piano. The work is also heard in orchestral arrangements by other hands.
