It was kinda meh~ Another dnf - butcher & blackbird. Fun start but somehow it stopped vibing very soon I devoured little thieves books in April. Absolutely loved it! Cried so good too lol My may tbr for now consists of bookshops & bonedust (just started reading it - 20 pages i) and Reappearance of Rachel Price (one of my most anticipated releases)

that’s okay! i understand it’s not for everyone. i started watching the anime first and continued with the manga. definitely a nice break from high fantasy and a nice pure read between big chunky books and series for me!! :))

I don’t think One Dark Window has an ugly cover. I think it’s pretty. Not as pretty as some but not ugly at all IMO. My ugliest book is probably the host by Stephanie Meyers. The cover is a close up of a girls face specifically her eye and it’s really ugly but I have heard it’s good and hope to read it soon. I think you’d like it as well. Just have to get past the ugly cover.
