I wish Mezco would use this body. This would also be good as a drawing aid tool!

Basically like the old bendy wire figures from my child hood I'm 46 now so stoked waiting for this to come in and a badass custom Thor head with the beard and long ass hair. Really appreciate your review and I think yours is the first about these figures. Nice run down of the articulation. I'm dismayed about the lack of hinge at the wrist and ankle. Slimmer body is on preorder, but I may get this bigger muscle body from Ebay

Your guide through the articulation really helped getting up to the slim body. Got clothes in the cart on Ebay and next week I'll ask the costume shop at work if they got scraps of pleather and stuff for customs.

Jaxon Phillips I think it comes down to personal preference. I prefer my Cap to be a little bigger and beefier. Though I'm sure the slimmer body could work. It also depends how much clothing you'll put on the figure. The slimmer body would be easier to put clothing on without impeding articulation. For the bigger body, I would probably do shirtless Steve or his tank-top look.

So I took the skin off... And I learned there is no swivel at the bicep. Which is unfortunate because it makes doing more rifle welding poses harder to do. Though if you're crafty, a dremel could make a difference in the frame to allow a more inwards movement of the bicep. That is if you don't mind potentially ruining the skin. Though with clothes on any cuts probably wouldn't be seen anyway so yeah. One more thing. If they could put thigh swivel joint, why not the bicep too?

Akshay Rajeev Menon I'm not sure if there's anything special I've done, but I've never had a problem with tearing on these figures. I think it may have to do with how long they are in a pose and how warm or cold the climate of the display space. Too hot or too cold could be unhealthy for the silicon, but again, I'm not sure. I've never had one tear on me. 😄

Jaxon Phillips It depends on which look you'd like to do. If you did a shirtless Steve Rogers or tank top Steve Rogers, then I'd recommend the bigger body. The slimmer body would work for any of his jacketed looks because it's still muscular but wouldn't impede the articulation under the clothing as much as the bigger body would.

Im making a samurai out of mine but i need a head to fit it. Im going for an anime type style.

In my experience with all things tbleague, unless there is already a tear in the skin right out of package then you don’t have anything to worry about. I’ve had several that I’ve had for years that pose just fine and haven’t torn. There are plenty of warnings from tbleague themselves to not store their product in high temperature environments as at can have an effect on the rubber/silicone. So long as you don’t display it in direct sunlight and keep it in a room temperature environment you should be good to go. 👍

is this the type1 or type2 body? as one is slightly larger than the other

Joe Mama This is the Type 2 body. Both are muscular builds, but this has has thicker more developed thighs, arms and shoulders. The thighs is where it's most apparent.

I have this figure and I'm a little disappointed in the scale size. He's smaller than mezco one:12 figures. His feet and hands are too small and his skin color(tone is off). I AM impressed w/articulation and the tech involved to make this figure to look real. But I feel like the body can be smdamaged after awhile from articulation. I pers.think this figures skin can be suseptible to stainning. But iver all....this is a great idea and I hope they continue to morph the negatives about it and make into a better product.

Nice review. A few lines that I would like to see comparisons with are Neca figures and WWE Elite figures. I know the WWE Elite figures aren't quite a 1/12 scale, but something close to it, as they look slightly bigger when comparing heads.

Andrew Moeller I did just try a WWE John Cena head and NECA Nathan Drake and both heads look a bit too big on the figure. Similar to the look of the Mezco Bruce Wayne. Yould make it work if you want, but it definitely isn't perfect.

The phicen feet are so small and now I know why the the phicen feet/shoes I got, don’t even fit the skinnier pizza/time Spiderman body,

The only problem is finding outfits for the figures
