Great review, Danoby! I tested the female T01A body, and I must say that Im really impressed over these myself. I did discover a couple of articulation limitations on the 1/12 scale compared with the 1/6 versions though, but that is to be expected with this scale. Overall they are highly recommended for all 1/12 or 6 inch figure collectors. These are nice base figures for custom figure creations. A few months back I would argue that the market doesn't have much to offer as far as outfits/clothes and certain other items/weapons for the 1/12th scale, but that seems to have changed now. There are actually more diorama stuff available for 1/12 scale than 1/6 scale right now, and there are a lot of weaponry as well. Some of the advantages the 1/12th scale have over the 1/6th, are the prices! Buying 1/12th scale figures and parts will be cheaper than with the 1/6th. Personally I still however prefer the 1/6th scale better for making custom figures. I just find that scale easier and better to work with. Its expensive but rewarding at another level in my opinion.

Where exactly did you find those articulation limitations? And do you know any store where I can buy 1/12 scale clothing for this figure? I was looking in CJESIM store but the shipping rates to my country were too expensive.

@Kyle Katarn; The elbows are limited in range due to how they're engineered. I think it has to do with the size of the figure itself. As far as clothing goes, you can find some on eBay. Just do a search for "1/12 scale clothes" and you'll find them.

Great review! Totally agree with you about Mezco should team up with TBleague. I’ve made a custom Harley Quinn. I’m thinking about buying these but the main problem is finding shoes/boots for these figures. There’s plenty of clothing options for 1/12 figures but not it shows.

I think it would be a great “Namor”.

They need to have this version upscaled to the hulk. That would be absolutley amazing

Something that has worked for me - at least for 1/6 Phicen bodies - is eyeshadow. Nude/neutral sets would work best. I was even able to dust the hands and feet for a better match. This came in handy trying to match a Chris Redfield head to a Phicen body.

Neat idea! How do you keep the eye shadow from staining the clothes or did you leave your custom figure naked?

This one is perfect! Making my own line of action figures based on a comic I am working on with a friend... It is like our G.I JOE, little bit of Call of Duty, cyberpunk-ish feel, to it as well. The game for it, is also more tactical like XCOM.

A GI Joe using the 1/12 body from TBleague isn't a bad idea!

ive been dreaming of a day when we get hot toys quality in a 1/12 scale figure, space and money, the lack of both, means hot toys are not for me, this scale would work.

Mezco Toyz was already exploring with silicone covered stainless steel endoskeletons at this time and had revealed seventeen months ago the 1989 Batman that will be the first produced with the new body. Can't wait for them to make a new Superman...

Oh and it's called "Mezco Toyz," not "Mezco One." They do have a line of toys called "One:12 Collective," maybe that's what confused you.

This body is so unbelievable. It seems to move so effortlessly, as if there was just soft wire under the skin. Will you be doing some customs in the future? Just imagine what could be done with current Star Wars Black Series heads...sure you have to get the robes...

Great vid dude, out of interest would the Mezco clothing fit either of these bodies (I’m favouring the 028) as I can’t seem to find any clothes to fit these 🥺 lot of people have recommended Picco Neemo but I can’t find any in the U.K

D2 the bodies could be stained darker using very diluted wash or immersion in cold tea/coffee literally rinse and repeat til color achieved napping away any excess ;test on a spare hand first.

What about the reverse?

You can use the body for green lantern or Martin Manhunter. Just need a customized headsculpt. I think this fits with mafex JL line.

These would be great for stop motion animation. On another note if I'm not mistaken normally you gotta colour the silicone before you pour it but I agree they need to work on their skin tones and I'd love if they made more skin tones available

The PHICEN figures come with 2(3?) skin tones. One is suntan while the other one is lighter. The one you have looks like a suntan, so there might be a lighter one, but I could be wrong. I don’t have one personally, but when you look at the website it looks like the one you have. I am planning on getting one though. The review was really helpful for me to know what to expect.

ive always said this was the future for some action figures because you save 100 percent of a sculpt and sacrifice none of the articulation.

I am wondering is it work with Mafex Justice League Aquaman or Superman head sculpt?

I'd like to make a Terminator custom. Definitely, this would be good base body for mezcos, but they will 100% not use it, They have been giving the same single jointed buck for the jokers for so many years now. I'd say mezco is good not really great, of course just my view. :)

Like military, ninja, samurai outfits and weapons? I know Mezco makes some stuff but I'm not sure what will fit, or what other manufacturers make items that will fit, and fit well. I hear that these figures are fairly new and that there isn't much out there for them?

Joints on most action figures tend to loosen over time. Did that happen with this figure?

I would think you might be able to play with the skin tone with some chalk pastels. You can probably wash it off if you didnt like it or seal it if you did. But i dont know what any of that would do to the silicone. Ugh i wouldnt want to try and or ruin it

This is truly cool, Ive worked on 1/12 scale miniature houses, never did I expect real looking humans would be created to fit. I also have 1/6 inch figures as I collected famous characters

How do they match up to neca figure size?

They seem pretty good to me. I think for certain angles mean more studying/ use what you know about anatomy so far. I want to buy one because drawing backs kill me with the muscles, I can never figure it out. 😂

Phicen Body hands are compatible with Mafex BVS Batman hands. TOYS ERA EA001 1/12 Scale Wolfman head and claws are also compatible with this body. The gear and clothes from the Great Twins Terminator and the Crazy Figure 1/12 Task Force Ranger are also compatible.

@@zarm106 have you replace the hands, feet with shoes? and head itself? also was it difficult to take off the clothes from the blade figure itself?

Um if you have an air brush and paint you can easily adjust the skin shade.

Are they exactly 6" tall or higher? I wish they had 1/10 scale, been searching all over the internet.

Not 6 inches at all a bit smaller, say 5 inches

So the next great step in action figures is getting rid of all of the articulation peg holes and covering all the joints. Cool

Pastel chalk sticks. Scrape the stick to get a powder substance.

I wish they would make a dark skinned body cause I want to make a mezco style Luke cage with this body

Take some chalk pastels, scrap off some into a powder, and use the darker skin tones with a small paint brush. It works wonders on silicone bodies. DO NOT USE OIL PASTEL AS IT WILL CLUMP UP MORE EASILY DURING APPLICATION. you can maybe use it, but chalk pastels work much much better.

Pale skin tone must be made
