It's not a mystery at all if you understand the caste system against Whites in the NFL. If he were Black he'd have been the starting QB since Brees retired. The NFL doesn't want a White running QB that can multitask and perform at this high level.

I refuse to believe that Andy or Jamies gave us a better chance to win at QB than Taysom. Having the ability to extend plays on the run would have won us so many more games this year. Plus, he is just as accurate if not more accurate than Andy or Jamies.

If you really payed attention to his play this year. You can clearly see a dramatic difference in his understanding of the game under center. That audible to go from a qb run to a touchdown pass to shaheed was just very good decision making. Very impressive. I think he’s ready I mean his qbr was 140 on the little amount he did throw the ball.

Love watching Taysom Hill

Is insane how every team knew he was almost surely running and they just couldn’t stop him. Yet he would go missing for like 2 quarters after he’s doing good., don’t make sense. 6 yards per carry average on the season

Why the Saints don’t start Taysom Hill at QB is beyond me. Dude is a beast n makes the Saints offense so much more dangerous when he is on the field.

he isn't very consistent with the deep ball, but to be fair, not like any of the Saint's qbs last year were.

He's a better QB than Dalton.

He's just not very consistent throwing the football being the main issue. He's better as a Half-Back, Fullback, Tight End, Wide Receiver who can also throw the ball to catch defenses off guard

@@dillonfarnsworth826 While you are right that the Saints have gone 7-2 with him as the starting QB, it wasn't really because he was a good QB, rather because we have a good defense and offensive line to allow us to run the ball effectively. The Saints need to implement him more into the game plan because when we do, we usually win more often than not whether he's at QB or not

Taysom extends drives, giving the defense more rest and keeping them off the field. As a QB, he's a part of the winning formula. They may not win because of him, but they sure win with him at QB, especially compared to the others.

@Dillon Farnsworth I'll say last year, a huge part of the blame goes onto Pete Carmichael for not utilizing Taysom Hill or Alvin Kamara to the best of their abilities. 2021 was just unfortunate because of injuries all across the board plus COVID. It's not that I don't think we shouldn't use Taysom Hill at QB, I just don't think that being a full time QB is where he's most effective

Hill is proof that the college Option style offense is still relevant. I feel like any offense that runs the ball can work a few times in a game, no matter how archaic.

Honestly, with how often everyone knows the QB power is used and works when everyone watching the game knows it's coming is pretty incredible. It has to be up there with Marshawn Lynch's % on 3rd and 1.

Hill would be a great pickup. He can run the hard to stop Eagles QB sneak . Jet sweep as a TE and run on designed pull plays in short yardage with his physicality. Run quick slants on linebackers with his speed
