Significant other is different than girlfriend. It’s not a personable term . That’s a slap in the face to Taylor… now I know he’s not that kind of serious love for her. Significant other is a person you’re with at the time… not truly serious..

Based on the meaning of significant other in the Oxford Dictionary - significant other means a person with whom someone has established a romantic relationship. You go Trav. Different strokes for different folkes. To Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift is more than just girl friend. She is someone who is important in his life. Happy you did not refer to her as your girlfriend.
