So what you are saying is that a large part of this album consists of the lyrical equivalent of revenge porn. A grown woman taking cheap shots at people with considerably less media reach than she has. It looks a lot like a kind of bullying. People who continuously fail in relationships need to take a look at what's toxic or dysfunctional about themselves before they start pointing the finger at other people.

A lot of her work reflects on her mistakes in relationships and she is often the "bad guy" in her own songs, so it's more just an expression of her feelings and reflections...so...you know...songwriting. I think calling it revenge **** is hyperbolic and unfair. Lots of people struggle with relationships (I did until I met my wife), but not everybody can admit when they are the one who ruined things.

Also, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived is about a famous rock star who can sell out MSG, so saying that dude is an asshole in a song isn't unreasonable. Nor is writing a diss track about Kim Kardashian. They have plenty of media reach. If anything, Kim is the bully and Kanye's video for Famous (featuring a fake nude Taylor Swift in the video) is revenge **** and bullying. Her punching back doesn't seem like bullying to me. Most of the album is about either A. Her ex-boyfriend of 6+ years (her longest relationship ever) and the heartbreak of spending your youth on someone who won't be with you for life B. The asshole rockstar she rebounded with who proceeded to shatter her heart almost immediately. Boyfriend A is less famous, but 6 years in your 20s and early 30s is a long time (she even wrote songs with him). It's fair to write about that. And Boyfriend B, who brags about sexual conquests, is fair game in my book if he's selling out arenas. But that's just me thinking that's reasonable lyrical content.
