Opinion: She's acting childish in the first half of the video to represent how the guy sees her, someone too young and naive, a non marriageable or not a wifey type of person, but then when looking at her once again, reminiscing her, the guy realized that she is one, that she mature for her age, and an amazing woman, sadly he realized it all too late, that's when he crushed, and that's when she bloomed. It could also be possible that having the same age of a lover, specially one with the same qualities, make him saw her, made him think about her, and again regretted it all once more.

This song is beautiful but can we TALK about BLAKE LIVELY!!! Absolutely beautiful directing. The scene where it all went quiet and taylor was the one in the wedding dress and she walks up to him slowly and they dance, and all you can hear is the breath between them, CHILLS.
