Sweetie it is not primarily corporate greed, it is a result of the worldwide stupidity of locking down everyone and entire countries economies then having to deal with the impact of that devastation with extensive government cash payments to citizens. Countries cannot just print & spend money without consequences. Countries everywhere destroyed small businesses, destroyed reserves, and depleted & broke supply chains because they listened to a handful of absolute morons who wanted to play crisis.

I’ve said this before and I’ll keep on saying it. This young lady is one of my heroes. I’m not a swiftie in the sense that I love all her music, but I’m one of her biggest fan because of her heart. How respectful, generous and simply comes across as a genuinely caring and loving person. Love her❤️

Government is not efficient at anything they do, ever. Government is the biggest, most bloated waste of money and time there is. Government has no incentive to focus on the best, cheapest way to do something. It’s because they are buying something for someone else with other people’s money, it’s the most disconnected you can be from accountability. We should never look to government to solve our problems. Charity & ground support is always best managed by people in the community close to the ground. We would be in a much better place if we stopped looking toward government to fix our problems, if they stopped taking so much of our money in taxes and we were able to use the extra money they weren’t stealing from us to give locally to support our communities. Big government is never the answer.

Fan or not - Swift's acts like this warm my heart and make me love her.

I love her so much. She’s incredibly generous and as a long history of donating money since her early music days. Every single city she’s played in during the eras tour so where has received donations. Some songs she’s written have had tthe proceeds donated to whatever the song was about (welcome to New York - went to public schools in NY, Ronan - went to a cancer organisation (this song WILL make you bawl your eyes out, you’ve been warned) and you need to calm down - to LGBT+ rights). She also pays her dancers, band, tour crew, truck drivers very well etc. there’s not enough time to cover the list of generosities she engages in 🫶🫶

she visits children in hospitals. In 2014 (I don't know if she continues to do it), she sent a bunch of boxes full of gifts for many of her fans for Christmas. Back in the days, one of her fans asked her where she bought one of her coat cuz she wanted the same. Taylor asked her address and sent it to her. She visits fan for their wedding sometimes, etc. The list goes on and on... and she does most of those things off cameras.

If she doesn't use her name "Why doesn't Taylor ever do anything with her billions" She has done this since the beginning of her career in one way or another and I guarantee you've never heard most of it. Just yesterday I saw a video from a fan who was struggling years ago. Taylor had been on her social media for awhile and had invited her to a secret listening session, a few months later she was struggling and Taylor sent her 6k out of the blue. That's just one fan out of many that similar things have happened to... Since she does care.

Who are you to judge? For most people its not by choice...some people lost their jobs, especially in the pandemic, also there are people who may have to stop work because of serious illness or mental health. It can happen to you or your family, sometimes life can throw up nasty surprises...you never know what's around the corner.

I don’t know how much in total she’s given to U.K. food banks but after her tour last year which made her a Billionaire to the tune of about 1.3 BILLION in her net worth, Swift gave her tour crew bonuses totalling 55 million dollars. Do you know what percentage 55 million dollars is out of 1.3 billion? About 4%. For comparison that’s like if Swift was worth the equivalent of someone earning the U.K. average wage (£29,999 approximately) giving just over £1. That is how rich a billionaire is. And I’m pretty sure she hasn’t given the U.K. foodbanks anywhere close to 55 million dollars.

Taylor Swift is a generous person and she does many heartwarming things. What I do wonder, is why working people are needing help from foodbanks! I live off s meagre income, but I don't smoke, drive or mindlessly tap my bankcard for every purchase. I find that not "tapping" and paying cash, helps me to budget!! Maybe an idea for some???

I think its the huge increase in rents and energy bills that have a big part to play. People on low incomes used to still be able to manage but now they are struggling. I looked at rent prices in my (very working class) area and its £650 to rent just a room in a small terraced house, a 2 bed terraced goes for nearly £900 a month. Energy bills are about £400 higher than three years ago.

It's a lovely gesture by her, but Christ on a bike it should never have been needed. This country has been left in an absolute mess.

She does that for every city she visits. Contrast that with Will and Kate visiting the food banks saying "I'm sorry we didn't bring anthing. All we can do is just give a little smile and a wave here and there." 😳
