One of the many things I love about Taylor is the respect she shows her collaborators. When she is on their stage it's never about her and when they are on her stage she makes it all about them....

I hear you. That deep deep voice...and then the crooning "ooo ooh hooo". And the "So step right out//There is no amount of crying I can do for you", hits like a punch to the gut! The emotion in this song...and to hear about a grown man crying, (it's still a contentious issue for masculinity), sung in that rich deep voice, just...ahh.

If you enjoy the emotion in his voice for this song, look up one of his live performances of his song 715 CREEKS. I spent years dreaming of seeing him sing that live and it exceeded every expectation I had when I saw him a year ago. It was a dream when I found out he worked with her
I love how she fits into the vibe and it doesn't become a Taylor Swift concert. It's still about Bon Iver. Taylor is so cool and just happy to be there. She is so genuine and so respectful towards her collaborators, and probably the top celebrity in the world right now, with so much power and influence on her fan base. Being genuine, and keeping it real are so important. She is so inspiring, truly.
I think the crowd could tell how special of an experience they were getting. Such an awesome performance

I want to rock concerts in the 1970s and I know that feeling, when it suddenly hits you that you're a part of musical history... Rolling Stones, the Who, Led Zepplin, CSNY, Elton John, Yes, Chicago, Allman Brothers Band, Jefferson Starship, Jethro Tull, Fleetwood Mac... And I never paid more than twelve dollars for a ticket.

This is story telling with music! You can picture a couple that loved each other and just couldn't get it right, couldn't get in sync. I think that resonates with a lot of us. Being with someone and they can't hear you and you can't hear them. It's beautiful. It's sorrow. Its love found and love lost. It's...life.

@arundelmercure553, there's an article on Billboard that this collaboration took place. Aaron is friends with Justin and asked him if he was open to work with Taylor. Then, Taylor sent Justn her recording, and Justin made a few modifications for the male part and added "step right out." It was Taylor who wanted to work with Justin,, not the other way around. Look it up "How Taylor Swift & Bon Iver’s Stirring ‘Exile’ Duet Was Born" - Billboard
His voice is so damn deep and soothing at the same time wow
This is the best duo to exist ever. Thank you Bon Iver and Taylor Swift for this healing masterpiece.
4:43 Aaron Dessner having the best time back there on the piano.
taylor just keep proving how capable she is as a musician its insane she can do country she can do pop she can do folk indie!!
The way their voices entwine together is just crazy. Like i couldn't picture their voices ever going together until this.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This is so brilliant. A bunch of people who love doing music and just purely happy doing it, on the other side people who love listening to music but not go crazy and actually pay attention to what's happening on the stage. I just love how Aaron smiles while he's enjoying the section and also the fact that both Taylor and Justin don't try to outsing each other but get lost in the harmony. Sooo beautiful guys are you real??
I accidentally clicked this, and im glad I did: this is one of my fave Taylor songs of all time and this performance is magical. They sound as fantastic together hete as they do on the record. Amazing. ❤
Glad that Bon Iver is still friends with JA - love this song, Coney Island, and Evermore too 👌🏼

@@camila-learnlanguageswithm8930 for starters Taylor hardly ever does female and male colab where both have a good portion to sing. The song's style is a dying genre. Legendary writing and harmony. Catchy, good lyrics, good emotions all in one. Songs like these are rare.
@themessenger8334
11 ай бұрын
@@mrmusicknowledge6354 one could argue that this song alone could give this style of song a boost in the industry because it's so good that musicians want to do it more. Saying it'll never happen again is objectively false. Keep in mind that this is Taylor's song, Justin Vernon is just featured on it. If anyone, she could do it again whenever she wants and it'd have a big impact.

Thank you for this! I went along last minute on my sister's spare ticket, wondering if she might join in for a bit as I knew she was in London Graham Norton filming. It was already one of the best concerts I've ever seen in my life when she came out. And then my life was complete 😆 It was so great to see her in person (from afar! with my terrible eyesight!) and I love that I can rewatch the experience. Thank you!!!
Love you both but I don't think that Taylor could hear herself, so the sound was a little off. Hope to see these two artists at the Grammy's side by side on the piano, it would be magical.

Both of them were pitchy as hell, but I believe their emotive approach to singing often takes a toll and they're incapable of mechanically tuning their vocals as well as those vocalists whose delivery is devoid of emotional content and focuses solely on technicality of their instrument.
