George Lopez is the best talk show host for that. I don't think I've ever seen him be anything but excited and polite to any of his hosts. But also same! It's a shame people nowadays can't see past looks.

I love how she flawlessly pulled the conversation from Gossip Girl to The Pretty Reckless. I also love George Lopez being so fascinated with her.

she has a sweet voice when she speaks, but when she sings wow she's amazing

She's got a great voice. I love how her voice is the same as it is recorded. She's not fake and that's awesome.

I LOVE George. They're obviously two different people-- that being said, George shows absolutely no judgement to her. he understands that just because she has dark vocals and music, she's not an emo kid. He talks to her like the human she is. Love it

I love that she actually sounds like a "rocker", a lot of girls who take this path have an artificial sound. I've been a fan of The Pretty Reckless since my 8th grade year and absolutely love them

It's honestly not the type of music that I listen to- not my style, but I must admit that it's so refreshing to see a young girl not take the easy pop route and go for something different that she's passionate about doing. I really like her.

She seems like one of the most awesome frontwomen to a band I've ever seen. I only stumbled on the Pretty Reckless last year and have been catching up since and there are almost no songs I don't love. Also she is very genuine and sweet in this interview and her acoustic live performances are heartrending.

I have so much respect for this girl. The fact that she fronts a band at such a young age and can actually SING AND WRITE quality music is impressive.

She's a heavier Avril Lavigne. Avril is great and so is she!

***** She's "product"? Please explain. She has an AMAZING voice. No amount of auto-tune can make that happen. She sings for a rock band that writes their own music. They play material that is WAY outside the comfort zone of most modern rock bands - and cause controversy. Just like Ozzy, Guns n' Roses, AC/DC or even Zepplin. She's got roots in hard rock that are legit. And they show. Do people want to buy her music? Yes. Is it WRONG to make money doing what you love? I sure hope not. Does that make your art - or your very being a "product"? No. It's called "doing what you love for a living". If you have something of value to sell, please do it and be happy. I have no idea what Gossip girl is ... but Taylor Momsen is one hell of a talented girl, she sings fantastically but combines it with intelligence, attitude and is so dam sassy and sexy .....

I love her voice!

She's very rocker but she's cool about it. She has a personality and it interesting and not quiet and mad. She seems like a really passionate interesting person.

Am I the only one that likes this live version better than the studio version? So much emotion, damn. It's so amazing when a band can sound just as good, even better, live than they do on their record.

Omg her voice is freaking amazing. I have listened to her songs but I had no idea she sounded sooooo good live. She is a natural talent, needs no autotune.

I will say this... I was very fortunate to see them live in Albany NY's Palace Theater where she was one of the opening bands for Halestorm (The other was Starset). I have NEVER seen a rock band completely wake up a crowd as an opening band the way The Pretty Reckless did! it was absolutely phenomenal, and would love to come out and see them again!

I saw The Pretty Reckless in concert 2 years ago. Taylor has a goddamed good band backing her up!! They were phenomenal!! All the songs they performed were "harder" and "heavier" than their radio versions!! As if Alice In Chains suddenly got a beautiful blonde lead singer!!

Very enlightening! I luv her style but have never seen her series. I only found out who "The Pretty Wreckless" was from the credits to " kick-ass" movie #1! She's gorgeous with an incredible voice and I wish them a long career! I luv them plus she has the same hair as I do lol! Thx for posting this.

omg Lopez is the greatest interviewers ever. This is probably the first one I've seen where Taylor hasn't been judged or there haven't been any awkward moments where the interviewer crosses a line.

"She's emo" no shut up. I don't think she should be labled as anything, and if anything she has a grunge style. So what, it's awesome!!

I just starting watching gossip girl and I was doing my reaserch on the show. And I was soooooo shocked this is her! I would never think she was SOOO cool and punk rock! Jenny is SOO much sweeter! She's an amazing rocker!! I'm officially a new fan!

I'm not that big of a fan of her music, and I wasn't too into this performance, but I do really admire her for taking this direction in her career and choosing to do exactly what she wants in life. That's very difficult in her position, being surrounded by people who tug you in different directions, all telling you what to do and how to do it. But on the other hand, I'm sure she had more than enough means to make the music thing happen, and I'm happy that she put in the work to really make it happen to the best of her ability. Pretty cool stuff. I remember hearing about them a few years back when they first came out, and I was really excited to discover that that's what she ended up doing outside of her acting career. Like I said, not a fan of her music from what I've heard so far, but I am a fan of her. I guess I'm less of a hard rock person and more of a punk / experimental person. If anyone wants to recommend me anything by her, though, I'm more than willing to give it a shot. Maybe I just haven't heard the right song yet.

I love how she gets SOOOO into it when she performs!!

She is truly badass, with a spectacular voice and great attitude. I like her band too, such a great rock & roll tradition carried forward! I wish her all the luck in the world.

I love this interview. She is so real and doesn't seem to be pretentious at all. She is badass on stage. Hopefully she will steer clear of the idiots and drugs.

Simple rule: if u don't agree with something don't do it but don't judge others for it. Someone likes to show some skin let them. You don't like showing a lot of skin? Then don't. You don't like your same gender then don't date your same gender but don't criticize someone else's decision. This applies to a lot of things except murder lol.

I just want I want to do. Their concern is just they afraid it might change you to be to bad. But for me, it's not. It defines me as a whole. So after some time (which is quite a long time) they accepted it.

I talked to her drummer dad. We both worked at goodwill. He was a truck driver for the business and company. Very cool right, as in rock to meet a parent of an awesome band😛!!!!!!!!!
