Professor Clifford, I just want to say what a wonderful service your economics videos are. As an undergrad who is frustrated by my Econ professor (who seems to like puffing his intellectual chest by making elaborate points and examples) you really seem to prove what a good teacher looks like. A good teacher is not someone who can assert their intellectual superiority by impressing dummies like myself, but is rather someone who can explain a complex theory in a simple, and understandable fashion. Thank you so much for making these videos free as they are vital for struggling students like myself, even 5 years after you have created them!

Things that I never learned in lectures and self-study, now I've become master by merely watching them on this channel and more importantly in just a few minutes. Tons of thanks for this extraordinary channel which made things quite understandable for all its followers.
Dude, you're the kind of guy who I would pay ridiculous amounts of money so you could perform seminars in Universities and Colleges on "How to hire professors". The thing is that it is not just this course that makes you a "cool prof." it is actually within your nature to be like that and this is an attribute that needs to be present in a hiring process of a professor. Your communication style, in general, has a positive effect on students and you connect well with them, I haven't seen you in person but I'm pretty sure this is the way it is. I'm pretty sure that students even tend to talk about their problems outside of the class with you as well. Lastly, please keep this up and I'm not going to say "hopefully every person teaches like you do" because then there wouldn't be much appreciation for people like you!
Sir....Hats off to you!! You helped me in High School and now in University!!! I will NEVER stop recommending your channel to others!!! Thanks a lot!
Much easier to understand than our Prof. :)
Can't thank you enough. Really enjoy the enthusiasm and upbeat attitude in the videos, really helps with staying engaged!
This video actually blew my mind with how clearly and effectively you explained this topic.
All it takes for Econ teachers to make a little bit more sense is attitude. Everyone knows listening to economics for two hours straight is boring. Any teacher willing to keep the students attention are going to be winners 🤝
Mr C can still makes me crack a smile even when I'm cramming for my econ test at 1 in the morning XD Thank you so much :)
This guy is what we call a economics legend thank u sir .I could say before I found ur channel I was seeing flames in my papers 😂 after watching Ur videos and making notes I'm finally understanding this module in university
Prof. Your 5 Minutes Video Is better Than Our 1:30 Hour lecture Really You are a Magician❤
You just taught me my ENTIRE Econ 101 course in 2 days. I appreciate you. hahah keep it up !

Can I assume who ever is more inelastic pays more tax?
this man save my life, I have a quiz every Wednesday, each quiz five percent of my final grade, so far the lowest I've gotten is 60% and that was only one quiz.
its so amazing that a video made by you 9 years ago continues to be so very useful...and crayzily funny
HEY YOU! Fellow high school econ student! if ever forget what goes to the government look for the box with "wings" (the left a right wings haha) .The money that goes to the government will alway be the box with triangles on both sides. pause at 2:39 to understand what i'm saying. The wings will either be the producer and consumer (taxes) surplus or dead weight loss (tariffs). I made up this mnemonic and got a 98% on my Unit 2 Test!!
You, sir, are a life saver. You really simplify things and make them easy to understand. Thank you for my distinction. Now, hopefully I'll score another one today.
Hi Jacob, I've been doing Economics this study period and watching your videos which have been a great help. Keep it up, you've got an excellent way of simplifying economic theories that makes it easier to understand
Mr.Clifford always saves me, especially during this Covid-19 times coz my teacher is not used in teaching online and all I get is Assignments
This video saved my ECON midterm, really.
am also a teacher of economics here in Uganda, but never have i seen economics teacher as good as him, i would also copy your method and style of teaching
You've been the reason I was able to get through Econ 101. I am eternally grateful Mr.Clifford.
I've learned more from half an hour of watching these videos than I have in my entire college micro class, how did my prof manage to say nothing in the past 3 months?
You have no idea how much this has helped me, thank you so much for uploading :D
Thanks to you I passed my Econ test! I didn’t really understand the material when my teacher explained but you helped me a lot and I appreciate it
I just had to thank him a thousand times.
Have my kids
This video still helping so many people in 2020.... Bless up
this makes so much sense and helped me so much since my 2-hour lecture is just listening to my prof read through 50 slides
bro u legit carried me through micro economics not gonna lie. im so thankfull for your videos. its informativ and very entertaining and im enjoying it all the time. thank you very much best regards from germany
Thanks Mr Clifford. Made more sense than 8months of studies on tax incidence
your enthusiasm cracks me up, thank you
This is not just good but it's simply unbelievable. Just 5 min videos has made me understand what I failed to understand in 1hr lecture
You just explained to me in 5 minutes what I didn't understand in a 2 hours lecture
hit like if anyone still watching this video and it is totally making sense!
This video was really helpful, my economics professor confused me so much on this taxation thing, but now after watching this video, I am all good.
This is so much easier to pay attention to than my lectures. Even khan puts me to sleep on this subject, Thank you for doing these!
Have econ for summer school, finals this wednesday, I had only 2 weeks and a half of econ and I've been lost lmao, with him things make more sense haha thank youuuu

Thank you so much! Your videos are the best, most engaging and you got the simplest ways for explanation!
I'm telling you no joke your a legend sir. Thank you so much. exceptional video
Thank you, Dr. Clifford! You're saving my grade (and sanity) :)
1:35 producer pay 1 $ tax and consumer also at 5:08 its its equilibrium that change when demand is elastic which cause the producer to pay more tax
Mr. Clifford you once again saved me... Thanks... Love from India❤️
I really thankful for this video , because right now I'm in Taiwan and it is hard for me to listen chinese language. thank you Professor It is really helpful
We would have a healthier debate on tax as a nation if every grade school went over this
8.1 Are predictions using the supply-and-demand model likely to be reliable in each of the following markets? Why or why not? a. Apples b. Convenience stores c. Electronic games (a market dominated by three firms) d. Used cars
another 10/10 video, makes me want to switch my major to Econ honestly.
wow i feel like i have had 4 coffees listening to this guy but he did give me the answer.
Thank you! saved my university education & its investments!

+tooomey Alfalahi Well, in a way I am. Now get back to work:)
So condensed and so valuable. Thank you!!
Love your videos Great explanation accompanied with great visuals. on the topic of the video on taxes I am a citizen of Canada and many do not feel that taxes are "the enemy" or "dead weight" or "a burden". I know you did not create those phrases but you must realize these terms are biased and loaded. It would be great if you could add a "Springer's Final Thought" to this video explaining that taxes are used for health inspectors that check your restaurants for cleanliness; libraries; snow removal; keeping lakes clean and wildlife monitored/protected. In your video example you talk about milk. Taxes collected should be used to assess the long term health affects of growth hormones or anit-biotics on humans and to advise farmers on how to protect cattle from mad cow disease. Taxes are necessary revenues collected to pay for externalities that corporations do not factor into the price of their goods ie. take away coffee cups and their disposal. Just a thought from your northern neighbour to help Americans not hate and mistrust government.
It all makes sense now. Wish I came across this before dropping micro, cause now Ive gotta sit around for round two of it.

if your haveing trouble determining by how much supply shifts, in the case of tax add vertically the amount of tax in this case 2 dollars to equilibrium and draw a new supply curve parallel to the last
I love your videos! It helps me understand much better before and after reading the book.
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! A LIFE SAVER!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING ECO SO MUCH EASIER FOR US!!!
