Tavis shares his thoughts on the breaking news out of LA City Council regarding Council President Nury Martinez and Councilmen Kevin de León and Gil Cedillo along with Latino labor leader Ron Herrera who were all caught on tape making "horrific racist slurs" about fellow Councilmember Mike Bonin's young Black son.
*Shortly after this commentary, Nury Martinez resigned as LA City Council president.

Hmm. Over 130 million people voted in 2008, while only 82 million showed up for the 2010 midterms. Add to that, 63 seats gained in the House and 6 in the Senate by Republicans and the rest is obvious. WHO in the Republican Party was going to support a Black ANYTHING?

Karen does it the quiet way & she gets more done!
Bass might be silent because she knows she may have some skeletons of her own. A smart politician would’ve already demanded the resignations but would’ve been doing unifying speeches in the barrio and the hood.
