Just for the knowledge of all the great gun lovers and law abiding citizenz on this channel: Despite being a Brazillian company, TAURUS is openly defending civil disarmament here in Brazil. In a letter signed by the president of TAURUS, by his own hand, he suggests several measures for "the real control of weapons and ammunition", among them: 1) restrict the importation of weapons; 2) the end of carry permits; 3) maximum limit of FOUR guns per person, being no more than ONE gun per home. 4) restrict ammunition sells (regular citizens can only buy 50 bullets for each gun, PER YEAR). Yes, it's fifty, I didn't mistype. It seems counterintuitive for an arms industry to be taking a stand in favor of civil disarmament. But TAURUS does this to be aligned with the new government's ideals and benefit from it, possibly exchanging the monopoly on the supply of weapons and ammunition in Brazil, for the support for civil disarmament. And they easily get away with it, by being our ONLY gun industry here in Brazil. Imported equipment is much more expensive here, so most citizens just can't afford buying from other companies (like S&W, Glock, SIG, Beretta). Just to illustrate: a glock g43x costs the equivalent of U$2,000 here in Brazil. Many can't pay this ammount of money for a gun. Now you see why TAURUS can take a stand like this and still get away with it. Help us take this knowledge to all the great gun lovers and law abiding citizenz on US soil too. If you can afford other brands, DON'T BUY TAURUS 🚫🐂🚫

Last week I purchased a Glock 27(after watching your reviews of course)...I finally found time today to take it to my local range. I told the range master I hadn't fired a handgun in almost 7 years, she just chuckled an encouraged me to have fun...After I'd finished and went to pay my range fees, she asked to see my targets(which I kept to post on facebook)...she chuckled and said, "You're no Hickok45, but you did quite well for a seven year absence"...Range fee was $13.20, I gave her a $20 and told her to keep the change...We love ya here in Western NC!

Great price on them, but they basically all have a shelf life of not that many rounds, I don’t know if it’s particular with which kind of ammo it wants to be fed through it but a lot of people after you start getting 500 1000 1500 rounds through it they will start breaking I’ve read

I love mine. One of the more accurate .44's i've owned. And not too bad of a single and double action too.

So far the only .44 Magnum I've shot is a friend's Ruger Super Redhawk, and it's hella fun! The recoil always makes me think twice before the next shot...definitely not something to rapid fire unless you enjoy pain. lol

I carry a model 629 in a shoulder rig when I’m hiking around our ranch in Idaho. Got a great deal when I bought it. It sports a 4” barrel and is comfortable enough for my old hands. I had a Raging Hunter a couple years ago with a 6” barrel and didn’t like it as much.

44 mag is fun to shoot. I had the Taurus model 44 with 8 5/8 barrel. Now currently own Cimarron Bad Boy saa and Rossi 92'. The Taurus was great but prefer the single action by little bit.

Raging Hunter is a better design. The aluminum shroud is a game changer.

Isn't it strange how you almost KNOW a shot is going to miss before you squeeze the trigger? I do it all the time. I can tell if I am off, so why do I pull the trigger? lol I suppose my little monkey brain needs confirmation of what I am seeing. Same with perfect hits. You know it's going to be a good shot before you send it. That whole scenario needs further explaining by someone who understands the human psyche.

Yeah I've got one I picked up oh 15 or more years ago and I love it very accurate, the factory magna porting works very well the only real upgrade to do to it is get a wolf spring kit and get rid of the 23lbs hammer spring lol but there a great gun!

I have one I bought about 15 years ago. Back when .44 mag ammo was $20 per 50 and .357 was $10-15. Those were the good old days.
