My experience with the G2c , G3 , G3c has been good . Very reliable for its price and will eat all kinds of ammo. Taurus is getting better .

"Not carrying one in the chamber?" Probably Taurus just worried about lawsuits..since they are beginning to remove their usual external safeties nowadays?

Don’t think so. You will find this in other older Taurus manuals that have manual thumb safeties.

My understanding is that the front and rear sights are both Glock sight compatible.

Yes , they’re Glock compatible. I have the toro g3c and I changed my sight too suppressor height Glock sights . Perfect fit.

I really love you're attention to detail, that makes a huge difference to me. Great video and I hope the chamber isn't to tight.

Definitely want one of these when I can find one for sale. Finally just got a GX4, been a Taurus fan for a few years now since they stepped up their game.

I can confirm that glock aftermarket sights fit on my g3xl!!! I had a set of meprolight true dots and they fit well, my set was technically for a glock 20, but fit perfectly and prints just a bit high about 1.5 inches at 7 yards which works for me!!!

Love Taurus I have g3c and g3 I put them together and got the 3g xl With safety put on page called highbred it was A while back before they released his pistol. Love your vids tho thnx

I'm definitely upgrading my g3c with the Compensated barrel.

Ruger has the same round in the chamber warning in their manuals.

My Taurus 856 Defender also had a warning about carrying with a round under the hammer.

Ran 100 rounds of Barnaul and Wolf . Ran like a beast. Trigger just ok. G2C worked flawlessly. Lucky me.👍😎🙏

You might want to try Lehigh defense maximum expansion 105 grain for the smaller barrel 3.2 g3c. They work flawlessly or you could do the Hornady 115 grain critical defense another one that works fall asleep in a shorter barrels Longer barrels like the four inches such as the G3 I just run HST Federal or the crown sig Sauer my personal preference

Sights are Glock pattern on the G3c, I believe they are the same on this one also.

Girsan MC9T (MC9 Match) vs SAR-9 Sport vs SAR ST9-S (ST9 Sport) is a comparison video I'd love to see, if you can make it happen.

I got twins of every gun that Taurus makes as far as semi-automatic besides the Toro and the gx4 which I refuse to buy either one. I plan to get the XL twins and the new I think it's the g 3x I plan on getting twins of that also. So yeah all the way from the PT 111 all the way up till the g3c's. And let's not forget the PT 145 I couldn't forget that one had to have it

Short chambers in the recent G series are indeed a reality. Can't say if tooling needs to be changed out more frequently or if QC is failing in some cases. New G3c would not plunk and spin Sig 124 grain V-Crown. Taurus did replace the barrel after a month of persistence.

Front and rear sights are both Glock compatible.

As I said in a comment Taurus is covering themselves from liability claims because there is no manual safety on the pistol. Yes there is a trigger safety and an internal firing pin block safety. I must say that is the first time I have seen a G3c with a large rear sight. They usually have a standard Glock compatible rear sight.

I'm wondering if the statement about not carrying a round in chamber is more a lawyer that came up with a way to space the gun manufacturer from lawsuits if something would happen from accident or shooting event of any type.

Then it must be a legal CYA. Both Ruger and Taurus tend to attract new/untrained consumers.

How is better than G3C or g3xl

All Taurus barrels have short throating, you will need to buy yourself a throating ream and ream the the throat. I have done all mine so far, TH9, G2C, G3C.

Issues were coming from the ammo you were using

I’d like to see Taurus make a 9mil version of the TX22

As to the 'carry' warning, how much of that concerns the pistol vs the gaggle of lawyers every corporation has riding on their coattails...? The considerable number of "WARNING ⚠" headers in the owners manual inclines me towards the latter.

Why's it in the manual? Because they lawyered up and are cya-ing themselves😔.

Perhaps when they did not include a manual safety they opted for the no round in chamber option. Legal issues.

i don't know how i feel about their safe carry condition. it makes me think that it isn't safe to carry with one in the chamber. the fact that they put that in the owner's manual is a concern. i used to have several taurus handguns. over the years, i have decided that the quality of guns i have is better than quantity. honestly at this point, the only taurus i would have is the tx 22, mainly because it has the highest capacity in a 22 lr, except now sig has 20 plus one with the p322. if i am going to get a budget priced gun, it is going to be a sar, canik, or dagger. don't get me wrong, i am glad that taurus has budget priced guns on the market. the aftermarket support for taurus has definately increased over the last couple of years. the gen 3 taurus has definately improved trigger & grip texture. the fact that they went to a glock compatible sight cut was the smartest thing they could have done. the glock sight option list is endless & you can find them almost everywhere. curious to see the "what's for dinner" section of the shooting impressions.

But I would like to see a manual safety version of this pistol because many will not buy it without one. Better to have and not need than to need and not have. Those that don't like it don't have to use it.

In Brazil... more than 1k US dollars, months waiting and no carry permit. To take your gun to a gun range? If you are a regular citizen you can ask, one time per month, for a two day permission to take it, unloaded, to the range. Brazil is a sad place. I don't care anymore. They won! ***still, no full support chamber... Taurus...
