Is it reliable will it fire and eject and load next rd every time I need it to? I don't care about nothing else
@GBGuns

@@RabbiTosmiser The answer to that is in the pinned comment.
I'm a big fan of the rounded trigger guard and no-rail setup. The Beretta Cheetah BB models were arguably the prettiest of the bunch, and I'm glad there are new clones of them these days. I'll have to give one of these a look sometime.
This is a very nice 380. Eats all ammo with ease and is very easy to shoot. The tip of barrel is fun, it is just an added bonus to we already find fire. This is when you can buy that you know will be iconic and will always work when you need it.

This does not have a tip up barrel.

@@GBGuns OK, I guess I missed that. Graham, I see the older models of grand Powers are dropping in price like a rock, do you think those are worth buying over the new MK series?

The Mk12s are excellent handguns, but the Mk23s are indeed an upgrade.
Interesting video of yours. We look forward to your range review. Girsan is a high quality firearms manufacturer. We have the Girsan Regard MC, the Beretta 92 clone. I've carried it camping, salt water fishing, rafting, hiking... We've put 2000 plus rounds through it many being +P+ zero issues. Although I'm not a firearms expert I'd highly recommend this company. We look forward to seeing your range review. We wish you and Teya a great day 🙏

Please excuse the typos 🤔
Love my newly introduced to American market the old Glock G25 Gen3 .380acp. 4" barrel, 15rd magazines, G19 comfortable size frame/grip. I guess you could call it a full sized .380 compared to the other small uncomfortable to hold sub compacts. Rest in Peace Gaston Glock 🇦🇹🥀
Fatih 13 is back ! They announced a new version in Shot Show 2023, squared trigger guard like Beretta 84 F. Unreleased till now and about a month ago Fatih 13 is back without the upgrades. Higher MSRP too.

I wish they would've stuck with the round trigger guard, and perhaps changed the name for foreign markets.
Great review, nice looking gun.
Very attractive gun.
Great review as always, thanks Graham! Looking forward to the shooting review! Hope Teya is well.
The vertical serrations aren't for recoil mitigation, but to keep the gun twisting in your hand.
I like it. It would make a nice 380 companion to my Beretta 81BB 32ACP. It's not as nicely finished as my Beretta, but I'm sure its more affordable than an original Beretta Cheetah in excellent condition. The larger sites are a nice touch for those of us with aging eyes. Yes, this design is a bit large compared to what is now available in 9mm subcompacts, but for some people this gun might be perfect due to less recoil and how it fits their hand. This design is very comfortable in the hand
The new Faith 13 is outstanding! Almost exact 84 clone. Fit and finish are perfect. Also takes Beretta 92 front and rear sights. Shoots beautifully. 500 flawless rounds so far
An ex still carries the Browning BDA 380. Great midsize 380. Very reliable.

Desperately want Girsan to make one of these Beretta clones with some kind of optics cut. At that point, I think just about everyone would want at least one.
@GBGuns

I don't think there's room on the slide for an optic.

@@GBGuns There are some guys who have set up old Beretta 84s with optics cuts, specifically the 407k, but I figure a plate system would be fine enough for stuff like this.
@GBGuns

@@FUNKCHUNKEM Interesting. I had no idea. I wonder how long thhe screws holdup to blowback violence and high slide velocity.
I have the BDA version of this pistol and also the Tisas Fatih (you can still buy the fatih). Both are nice pistols to shoot. More similar than different except for the beretta style slide cut out. Both use the very same magazines. I happen to also own the Beretta 81, 84 & 85 pistols. These are very similar in size and feel with just a few minor differences. I consider these Turkish (Girsan or Tisas) made pistols to be a good value for the product. So similar I would not be surprised if they are made at the same place.
Great video... very helpful information....

Like the look of this one, figures, I recently got the Ruger Security 380.
These kind of firearms make me want to become a collector. There aren't enough shoe boxes in the world for all the finishes and species of wood.
I'd buy one, been packing a Tisas Fatih lately, turks make some good guns.
Thanks

i have a security 380 that shoots pretty flat but I have been having an odd issue where the slide goes to lock back after the first 3 rounds of the mag have been fired. It hasn't happened the last few times I've been to the range with it so I wonder if its a break in period thing. This is a beautiful 380 and I might have to check it out if the ruger decides to keep fussing about.
The double action is not a light primer strike back up, although it certainly can be used that way. Rather, double action is an alternative carry option to cocked and locked. In DA mode the gun is carried with one in the chamber, safety off, hammer down. Alternatively, the gun can be carried traditional single action condition one, loaded chamber, hammer cocked, safety on.

I don't believe there's a dropi safety if carried decocked

The Beretta 84FS had a drop safety, so I can’t understand why a faithful clone would not. Additionally, the manual safety can be engaged hammer up or down.
Tisas didn’t discontinue the fatih, they updated it with a frame that’s identical to the beretta 84 now as well as walnut grips from the factory and removable sights that interchange with beretta 92x sights which opens up some night sight options for it…..I’ve seen multiple reviewers say the new fatih has a decocker on the safety now and others who make no mention of it….ill be finding out myself in a couple days when I pick mine up….

@@GBGuns Just got it home. Very well constructed piece. Walnut grips feel good and fill the hand. There is no decocker on the gun but the sights are indeed removable and look to be 92fs/92x type. Single action trigger is nice, reset is a bit long but very useable. Double action is about as long as any beretta I’ve owned, fortunately if I decide to carry this it will be cocked and locked. I’m looking forward to putting some rounds through it to get the whole picture.

Looks like a beretta 70s with double action trigger. Any firing pin safety?
I have the Berretta 84 and everyone that has shot it really likes it. It seems very accurate as well. I am not sure if it is a 100% blowback design or not. It has a different locking mechanism than a 92 series. With most blow back designs the barrel is attached to the frame. This saves costs. This seems to be a more expensive way to make a blow back. I dunno… I picked it up used thru a Surplus dealer.
I saw the tisas gun on the website like 6 months ago in stock ..been a while
I have zero barrel movement before the slide moves back on my Beretta 84. Maybe there's a tolerance issue on the Girsan? Or even a different mechanism?
If Beretta or one of these Turkish brands would just make one of these 380s with the same "decock only" operation as a 92G or PX4 Storm G, I'd be all over it. As far as I know, they do not. 😐
These Beretta li e of guns are great, but would prefer a decocker.
Funny that the day your video publishes on KZread, PSA sends a daily deal email on used Beretta 84s.

They need to offload them before these start hitting the market.
It is not blow-back operated. It uses the Beretta rolling-block recoil system.

I stand corrected. It is blowback operated. I had thought that was exclusive to the T. Apologies.
No extractor?
Just to enlighten you, this is a clone of the early Beretta 84 with round trigger guard, non hammer drop safety. Mec gar has been making magazines for Beretta for years apparently they only provide one with the pistol. Beretta 84 as well as Browning BDA mags will fit. The magazine release should be reversible on this pistol if it is true to the Beretta design. Would be nice if they cloned the model 87 in 22lr
Never heard the Price.
