I have the 627 tracker and i fixed the extractor cradle by using a little bit of graphite on the extractor rod. Smooth action!

Studied, researched, watched demos, read more about 2 handguns that I would love to have on my side and with my Henry big boy All Weather chambered in 357mag/38.spl. 1st gun we like is the Ruger wiley Clapp in 3 barrel and the Taurus Tracker 627 in 4 inch.. both are top quality but one is much cheaper by a few hundred dollars. You helped us decide to go with the Taurus only because of its price is easier to reach than Rugers. Thank you for your demo and very informative video sir. We'll done. Blue

The reason the extractor got stuck was because the empty cartridges expand making them tighter. This is a common occurrence on all revolvers.

You missed some of the less known but significant features of this revolver. According to the manual, the trigger pull weight is internally adjustable, on some models according to the manual, the length of pull on the trigger can also be adjusted

I almost got this gun yesterday, had to save some money and went with the Taurus G3 9mm. I'm loving Taurus these days.

The huge benefit of being able to shoot .38 is that you can practice with .38 at probably half the cost of .357.

On top of that if a person wants to invest in a single stage reloader they can reload 38 for about 25 cents a round. A box of lead nose target rounds right now is about $40 for 50 rounds.

For many years Taurus made Smith and Wesson wheel guns.

Same here! I got the snubnose non ported version because I'm a lazy ass and I don't feel like cleaning out the powder mess from the porting cavity. Lol

Hi if you got the money go ahead and get the 686 but if you’re on a budget go withTaurus Either way you’ll have a good gun

@@jamesm1 I've got the 7 shot. I was lookin at KZread reviews of the 8 shot and either the guys in the video, or people in the comments would say that they get alot of jams out of it. My 7 shot has been flawless though

About 200 rounds no problems so far but Taurus gun can be hit or miss when it come to reliable

I’ve haven’t had this problem but people have reported that some the revolver transfer bar have Broken and gun will not fire and some of there Semi auto pistols will misfire

I think so. Just start off shooting .38 special light loads though it. Work your way up.

what are the "downpoints" eluded to by others? Perhaps mentioning them and allowing the viewer to decide the importance would provide a more neutral review (if you were looking to do a series of such). Also, showing the range of ballistic capabilities with different ammo choices could help prove your caliber consideration.
