What I love is all the different types of ponies. It's nice to know the Pony Club is still there for any child to try and improve, no matter if they have an expensive jumping pony or a native or a rescued one with dubious conformation. All are clearly adored by their young owners, as they should be. I never got to join the Pony Club as I didn't get my first pony until I was able to pay for him myself and I'd have loved to be able to do something like this camp. What a brilliant experience for all these children, something that they will remember for the rest of their lives. I hope they know how lucky they are! P.S, it's also refreshing to see that when taken away from their phones and gaming machines children still have the capacity to be energetic, brave and adventurous.

This was the 30th Three Day Rally and again was fabulous fun. We now have the second generation coming to it and the bond between all those early parents is as strong as ever with whole families, grandparents and all, coming to watch the Challenge and to BBQ on the last day. The children are fantastic and it seems to be the highlight of their pony club year as well as a great, full stop to the summer holidays. Their riding improves phenomenally over the 3 days. We never have any bad behaviour just kindness, respect, thougtfullness, bravery, pride, determination .... and exhaustion!

@@JennyParsons Thanks for replying. That's why I love your videos, because they are such a great bunch of people, adults and children alike. And the ponies are so well behaved too! I watch with pleasure and a little envy 😊. I'd hoped to do some of this stuff with my son but as he's severely autistic it never happened. Horses are his great love though, and they've been so good for him, right from the first little Shetland to the Clydesdale he's riding now! My own horse isn't trustworthy enough but so many people have been kind over the years and let him ride their ponies. Most horsey people are great I find, over 40 odd years I've only met a few bad apples. Horses (ponies especially) definitely build character!

I'm ancient too and just love everything about the pony club, except for one thing ... too competitive! I aim for FUN, in spade-fulls, at my annual Three Day Rally. It's the 30th one here soon and we're just gearing up for it. x

@@JennyParsons Your Pony club certainly puts the emphasis on fun, judging by all your past vlogs. Are you familiar with a new pony club rule, that patting your pony is no longer allowed? Can’t believe this can be so?

I am and agree in part! Some pats are huge, repeated, noisy thwacks and some are gentle with a bit of a rub ... those are OK. I didn't know they'd actually banned patting!@@janeminwell4395
