I used red light (infrared) therapy as part of my tattoo aftercare regimen. The post care process is important for good results, and I found red and infrared light to be helpful in quick healing after getting my first tattoo. Make sure you keep your new tattoo clean (use an unscented, anti-bacterial soap) and keep it moisturized (I use diaper cream!). Follow your tattoo artist’s instructions if they differ from what I was told to do.
