@Rick Hinojosa , first of all Rick, really nice looking family you have, second I wouldn't know where to begin to pronounce your name, -(had to point out" a little curious 🤔as to the origin) I COULD NOT! Agree"* more with you on your statement of these black and white westerns,(surpass the test of time 'classic, (if anything the absence of color (goes right along with the time frame of that time period of those Dusty trails of trials with leather , gunpowder steel ,dirt , Wagons full of dreams yet also, fear of the unknown and the knowing of what was waiting, in the black and white shadows.

@@KNT.63 Hi😃! My last name is pronounced "EEN-OH-HO-SUH" . The "h" is silent and the "j" sounds like an "h". But I pronounce it with the anglo half of me so I start it out as "IN" instead of "EEN". The origin is spanish. There is even a city in Spain with the name, tho I can't take claim to it!! There is something about black and white movies that always add something special to them for me. Perhaps it's because it's old, or doesn't show so much detail of a person that it spoils their look. And then it also may mean I don't have to worry about the language. I can usually watch them with my kids or mother!! Thanks for your comment. Have a blessed night. It's nighttime here in Fresno, california as I write this. ☺️🙏

@@KNT.63 Hi. Haha, no worries there! I'm about as politically incorrect as can be. Really, I'm just honest and straightforward with noalice in my questions or answers...unless I specifically say so. My new is spanish, from Spain. But I have all kinds of things in my heritage. Irish, german, Spanish, and a couple others that I don't remember what. But, like my father used to say, "I'm an American". He was a world war two frontline soldier. Infantry,, and he was a field surgical technician. Considered a Mexican, and because of his religion, non-combatant, he was very much ridiculed and chastised in bootcamp. He VOLUNTEERED for service, didn't wait to be drafted. And he served in an infantry division which was a principal player in the Battle of the bulge. He froze along with the other soldiers in the Ardennes forest and other places, including germany, while al the while in battle. By the end of a few battles, the disrespect was gone. He was put there tending the wounded under heavy enemy fire and I went to one of his infantry's annual reunion back around 1991 and his comrades told me he was no joke. They went through hell and was greatly respected by them. They were quite a breed of guys. Why am I saying this? I guess because the three year anniversary of my father's death is four days away. One month shy of age 95, October 22,2017, he died. So, it's fitting that I tell someone about him, I guess. He was a mexico patriot because his mother was mexican. But he was first with the USA! Anyway, so, yeah, Spain, spanish last name. God bless you. 🙏

At 7.52 the doctor says, "I can't touch that slug: too close to the heart", as he examines the wound down around the victim's stomach. I can't believe a man with just one good arm could pull on such tight trousers

I think that one of the reasons this series was rather abbreviated (13 episodes) lies with the title, "Tate". It says nothing about the kind of entertainment it provided, compared to Gunsmoke, Cheyenne, Wagon Train, Wanted; Dead or Alive, The Lawman, Wyatt Earp, Have Gun Will Travel, Bat Masterson etc. The lead actor, David McLean was already well known as the Marlboro Man, one of the more famous spots in advertising history. McLean died in 1995 of lung cancer, brought on by many years of smoking.
