Especially the early ones which were made a decade ago or even earlier. Those used genuine comressed cow horn or solid waterbuffalo horn and premium wood core. Sinews and tendon plates are still fine, but I'm afraid the so-called biocomposite recurves do not use a real horn material but rather some kind of plastic substituent. I saw numerous complaints from my British mates about recently built biocomposite bows of Grozer. Tell me if I am wrong

Great bows! I left mine strung for 3 months and it lost about 10% of the draw weight (from 44 to 40@28) but got it all back after just being left unstrung for 3 days. It was interesting watching it regain its unstrung crescent shape. Should have taken some time-lapse photos. I've left it strung for a month several times and it only lost a couple pounds, got it back over night. It's never needed balancing, has never twisted. It's smooth, fast, and quiet. Why did I do that? I just had to know... now you don't have to wonder about it.

My biocomposite Tatar from Grózer arrived yesterday. What a bow! Bloody marvellous! The draw is smooth as butter, while the bow is snappy as hell nonetheless. Draw weight 42# @ 28" (measured by Grózer) Draw weight 50,9# @ ~32" (measured by me) Fell in love with the BC-Tatar, already! The ordering process went pretty straight! Sent an email to Grózer, and got a reply from him within two day´s.

Another great biocomposite bow from Grozer. I am a lucky owner of an Assyrian and a Persian, an can confirm that the draw experience is really different from laminated glass fibre bows. Regarding durability: they really don't mind lightweight arrows, even if it feels like dry firing. There is also a video of Grozer, in which he tested a biocomposite bow by fixing it fully drawn and then cutting the string with an axe. They how survived without any damage. So I would say that it is quite hard to break them... A pity, though, that it is so hard or impossible to order a custom made bow from him. Practically you can just get the bows in stock, from my experience.

I wish I could find a lightly used grozer bow, I'd snatch it in a heartbeat. $450 is a little much for me even though it's fantastic value

Grozer and Nawalney, my two favorite bow builders that conjure up, in my warped mind, 2 different scenarios of dispatching ones enemies. With a Grozer bow one's arrow pins the enemy to a tree for the buzzards to feed. Quick and done, you move on. With Nawalney, you lure your enemy into your candlelit tent, have a fine meal, drink some wine and when you're finished with him your arrow pins him to your feather bed. Then you place your pretty bow up on the wall of your tent. But that's just me...😁

Sorry Armin for correcting you, but Grózer is pronounced with "z" and not "zsch". You mastered his first name though 😉

This bow seems to rock. Perfekt sice, beatiful curves. The colors are not mine, but whatever. Sound is also nice. No peung, just a short put. Compared to punching: Not a bitchslap, but a straigt centerpunch. Hahaha, during writing this, Armin:"flattening the curves..." I love your deep cynicism. Suggestion for your patreon bows: why don't you just use a bit of electrical isotape. Shoud be enough for a few shots... Or are these scratches your sign of approval? 😜😘 Thanks and keep up the good work!
