Battery cost is more when you replace...but electric car is cheaper than diesel vehicle...if you even charge in electric station then it will be 2 times lesser than diesel cars...

@@venkateshkumar6851 for electric cars u must change the battery after 3 to 5 years or 800 to 1000 recharge cycles. COBALT is very costly material as it acts as anode in the battery and lithium is cathode I think. Incase anode and cathode get direct contact then the battery will explode or causes to explode. If one cell get damaged , it ll disturb the whole pack of cells sometimes. If u spend 2500/month (500km) =30000/ year =150000/5years. But the battery pack will be 4 to 5 lacs. Here u can drive more kilometers but the battery recharge cycle will reach its capacity soon . Only thing is we must invent a CHEAPER new BATTERY technology.

So 1kwh = 20 Rs now, so need to spend Rs500 for 150km range, I feel Its bit high, compare to electric vehicle volume at the moment customer already paid huge amount for battery + vehicle itself

If you're driving 200 km up and down (from home to home) for usual commute then it's a worth because even if your using EB for charging the calculation will be as follows 26kw*8 per unit (tarrif of Kerala state electricity board for three phase LT house connection) =Rs.208 for 200 km it comes 1.04 per KM,In comparo to an IC Engine we can take diesel for this as it's more fuel efficient than petrol will be as follows 20 kmpl/200 km=Rs.960(😳 difference) so rs960/200km=Rs4.8 per KM difference would be 4.8-1.04=3.76 (200km per day*30days=6000km a month in this calculation it's self a tigor ev owner saves 23,000.... a month I.e..maintenance of both cars are not considered if so even more has to be paid for an ICE car as running parts oil lubricants are present.....if your buying en EV in present scenario it can only be used as a second car but the buy will definitely a worth we should calculate it first then only we can understand the margins and saving of EV.....have a good day 👍😊
