I had tweeted to Ratan Tata, about the issue of having same staff of commercial vehicles giving service to passenger vehicle customers. This demerger will help in improving the service and increasing the sales dealers at local levels. It will also help in recruiting talent from M&S ,hyndai, Toyota who are really good at customer service. Passenger vehicle customer dedicated CXO, Service Centers, dealers.

I’ve been using Tata HCVs n Tata passenger vehicles since long. The fit finish n quality of Tata HCVs is and was far better than the passenger segment ! After all TATAs were the pioneers of Truck Manufacturing in India. The board shouldn’t forget it! Foresighting the infrastructure projects in India, Commercial segment of TATAs has a big scope. Passenger is absolutely ignorable. In fact if the de merger doesn’t happen the collective revenue will benefit the TATAs

There is already a proposal to convert Tata Motors DVR shares to Tata Motors shares. If and when the Scheme of Arrangement is approved, the DVR shareholders will get 7 ordinary shares for every 10 DVR shares held. This is expected to happen before the demerger.
