    Hey Rob, I'm a recent subscriber, a 50 plus old NE "FL Cracker", hunted and fished a long time, but you've taught this ole dog some new tricks. I'm more of a viewer than a commenter, but I just had to leave a comment on this one. I used to throw Trigger Fish back because they were just a pain to clean. But years ago fishing in the Abacos, a local Bahamian showed me the fastest and best way to clean and cook a Tigger. All you do is a one cut gut job, wash it, stuff the gut area with onions, green peppers, spices of choice, and throw it on the grill whole. When the top scales start to curl up, flip it over and cook the other side the same. Put it on a plate, the skin keeps the meat moist and will peel off like aluminum foil. I then add a little melted butter, lemon, salt & pepper. Use a fork and the meat will fall off the bone. GOD BLESS & Keep them coming......we gone.....

    This channel got me to fish for the first time since I was 10. More importantly, it got me to acknowledge, and show more appreciation and thanks everyday, especially for my family, just humanity and nature in general, and even my own personal well being. You're a genuine and sincere dude Robert, and it radiates and we appreciate ya! BTW... Do you ever plan on including any short, real time video diagrams in the corner of the screen? Examples would be like your anchor retrieval technique, maybe some of the simple knots, or line arrangements. For the newbies like myself!

  • @mkllove

    @mkllove

    5 жыл бұрын

    This is easier still, the skins like a sock over the fish : kzread.info/dash/bejne/oYSOpLyNks-WgM4.html The only thing I'd add is to use a pair of big 8" or longer nails pounded into a tree or wall leaving 5-6" exposed. Then you grind off the heads of the nails and sharpen them to a point so it can hold the fish so you don't have to keep hammering them into the tree...they left a lot of meat on that cat, its got filet meat all the way up to the head.

    Got to try that sauce. Was hoping that you would show us the dorsal fin trick on the trigger fish. Just ordered some Everglades seasonings today. Love your vids. I’ve hunted and fished since I could walk. Been trying to give back to the younger generations Peace.
