1.That energy bar had to be expired as fuck 2. the cereal has powdered milk in it 3. I tend to use the beverage bag for the coffee and save the other drinks for my lunch and dinner 4. It is indeed a tradition to eat the "mint" 5. Our service rifle is the C7A2 or the C8 Carbine (The Canadian version of the M4.)

In Canada we do not call it Canadian bacon, we call it peameal ham or peameal bacon, or possibly back bacon in some areas, if it says bacon it is just regular bacon the same as in America. Canada is only cold in the winter it is hot in the summer. In fact 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the U.S. border and more than 70% of Canadians live below the 49th parallel (so around 60% live south of Seattle). Most American's have this vision of Canada being very cold, and it is in some parts of Canada in the winter but not all of Canada all the time. But even the more northern parts of Canada (where I am from) it can be very very cold in the winter but it is still hot in the summer.

Ketchup comes from the Hokkien Chinese word, kê-tsiap, the name of a sauce derived from fermented fish. It is believed that traders brought fish sauce from Vietnam to southeastern China. The British likely encountered ketchup in Southeast Asia, returned home, and tried to replicate the fermented dark sauce

This is my go to breakfast ration when in the field. Right now for lunch/supper my go to is pizza pasta or beef macaroni. If you can get those give them a go. I’ll see if I can get them and send them down to you
