Sally Phillips was in an all female comedy sketch show called 'Smack the Pony', it wasn't her first time on TV but she had a leading role in this and it was very successful so was the show I always think of as making her more of a household name, one of her first smaller roles before that was as a trainee receptionist in 'I'm Alan Partridge' which was a hilarious.

The way Greg messes with Alex is brilliant. In some ways, he's an absolute child. (See also his time on Big Fat Quiz.)

The swear jar wasn't included in the episode, unfortunately. But fortunately we have it out of context here!

I think when you’re going through a divorce like Sally was it’s no surprise she was so flirtatious with Greg and Aisling and probably why she covered Alex with food and had it off with a watercooler!! It was more likely that Sally was asking Greg to make a pass at her, Greg just turned it around to make the joke about being a certain age 😄

Have you watched the Bridget Jones movies? Sally Phillips is great in them.
