During lockdown, they did something called Home Tasking, where Alex set challenges for people to do at home. So you could definitely do that on the channel. The trick is to not let anyone see what other people did first.

You guys REALLY need to start reacting to whole seasons of Taskmaster, half the humour and enjoyment is seeing a the same comedians battle for several episodes and see their different approaches for tasks, failures, successes, the sense of competition growing etc.. It's genuinely one of the most enjoyable shows on tv

There is a book of tasks Alex did. He’s also very active on Twitter, so if you have questions, he might answer them

Taskmaster is now on series 17, and all the tasks expect for a handful, were created by Alex Horne (the guy playing the Taskmaster's assistant). Tim Key, a comedian, poet, actor and Alex's long time friend, is credited as a consultant in the creation of the tasks, but according to Tim himself, the only thing he does is to meet Alex at the pub, and have Alex describe to him his ideas.

They have 5 contestants for a run of 10 shows (it used to be 8). Round 1 - bring an object to fit a given category and get points (the winner of the episode gets all 5 things), Rouns 2, 3 and 4 are the actual tasks. Round 5 is everyone on the stage for a fun game as you saw. They get points for each round and the points are accumulated over the whole series to give a series winner who gets a gold bust of Greg.

The END Game challenge is a great way that each episode ends on! Its even funnier as it involves all of them live, and they akways want to win as they can go from last place to first most times due to the points swing! Joe Wilkson is usually the funniest! 😂

You could react to the home tasks... that's what they did during covid - they sent out tasks and the public would film themselves doing it and the top ones would be picked as winners - some of those were brilliant!

From personal experience doing your own taskmaster competition is so much fun. You can make up any random games you want and the stupidier they are the funnier they are. I think everyone here would love to watch Nick and Jodi do their own version especially watching Nick with his highly competitive nature ultimately losing to Jodi.
