Rhod is one of my all time favourite Contestants. This year he also just beat cancer. He had throat cancer in 2021 and beat it this year. He did a show about his treatment.

Yes, you will be looking at Wang the whole season. The first team task is such a great moment. He'd already filmed the other tasks and didn't realise how obvious his genitals were until his teammates pointed it out.

I do love Kerry's truly incredulous "what was he doing" with the grade school finger point lol

Knappet, GIlbert, Godliman, Wang, Acaster. It's a classic. So many great moments in this season. The event that renames a part of the set for the rest of eternity, some genuine anger, and a crowning moment of stationery obsession. So much to look forward to. Bosh!

"By the way, this was a choice" is the type of confidence I wish I could have IRL. lol

Not a Rhod fan, but he's good mates with Greg Davis and uses it to great comedic effect. Honestly from here on in Taskmaster never goes below a high level of entertainment. It becomes great when the contestants bounce of each other.

I know! The episode where James goes off on Greg regarding the satsuma task is one of favorite TM moments because it's such genuine rage!!

Absolutely my favourite season. Season 12 comes a close second though =P

This season is definitely top 5, I just hope people haven't built your expectations too much. 12, 13 and 14 are all great too, I just hope the world hasn't ended before you get to them.

The Kill Bill outfit was inspired by the Bruce Lee outfit, which I only know because I looked it up when I first saw this episode.

This is easily one of the best series of Taskmaster, cant wait to see the reactions

Such a strong line up this season, forgot how good this is going to be.

Phil didn't realise what his outfit was.... putting no display... until he did his first group task and they ehm, confronted him about. And I think that's hillarious

fun fact: the Bride from Kill Bill is actually dressed as Bruce Lee, so I think that's the person Wang intended to pay hommage

So glad you’ve got to this one. One of the best series, so many all time highlights, you’re in for a treat!

What blows my mind about Phi's 'quick' change is that he failed to realise that it's quicker to pull clothes off than to put them on.

You thought Phil was dressed like the lady from Kill Bill because the lady from Kill Bill was dressed like Bruce Lee. So you were right...but Bruce Lee wore it first. 🙂

Rhod Gilbert is legendary for his appearance in this series of Taskmaster, he just crushes the Sally antics and 1-ups her! Kerry (It's not fair) Godliman gets away with murder and cheats constantly. I challenge you to show a real quick change artist those attempts and see if they agree who did the real quick change. Kerry did not do a quick change. Jessica was the only quick change.

Gets away with murder? Rhod completely ignores half the tasks and gets decently marked anyway (not a quick change, doesn't find a satsuma but gets 5 points, same joke repeatedly for prize task with ok marks, doesn't poke anything through the hole but still gets 5 points, refuses the traffic warden task because he can't drag it to his humour style - likewise the extension task, boys getting more marks for their obviously inferior soap cliffhanger). He has a couple of great moments like the javelin (which was awesome) and the tie self up task (though other contestants on international versions used the same solution so hardly unique genius involved)

This season is filled with iconic moments and each cast has at least one of those

Kerry may be slightly too competitive for ME, but this cast is one for the ages

Yeah I was never a fan of her in this series. WAY too competitive and a lot of the time, when she loses, she get's really childish and basically has temper tantrums

I think she intentionally leans into it for comedy effect (and maybe misjudges it a bit) but yeah, she can grate a bit at times.

The Bride in Kill Bill is dressed in that yellow outfit as an homage to Bruce Lee.. Which was a strange move when considering Tarantino seriously hates Bruce Lee.

I mean Rhod and Greg being such old friends just MAKES their dynamic in this show And let me tell you, Sally has nothing on Rhod

This series definitely has an aspect of laughing at incompetence. But it's hilarious.

This is probably my favourite season.

Let’s say: Rhod has just signed up to mess with Alex and annoy one of his best friends, Greg Davies. You’re in for a treat.

Season 7 is probably my favourite, followed by 9 and 13

I love this season! James Acaster, Rhod, and Phil Wang are hilarious. Phil is like a slow stoner, never any sense of urgency. Rhod is always messing with Greg. James is pure insane chaos. The contestants argue and fight over their tasks and what points they get a lot this season too, which I love. I love Kerry too! I love all the people this season.

It is great yes, but I'd agree that Series 5, 9, 13 and probably 11 & 14 as well as NZ2 and 4 and a couple of Kongen Befaler seasons are clearly superior. As I've said elsewhere I don't love Rhod, Phil Wang was hilarious but sometimes was clearly tanking tasks deliberately which is less fun and Kerry is pretty much a down the line contestant. James is an all-timer and Jess is great, but I think there are better overall casts.

Lots of people like Rhod on the show but honestly I love his other work but really rubbed me the wrong way on Taskmaster. Basically completely ignores the tasks - as with the non-quick change quick change - and does what he wants instead and just uses tiresome running gags for the prize tasks that is just the same thing repeated. Presumably though the people who like him do so for pretty much the same reason. Gave cancer the middle finger recently which is pretty great news. The rest of the series is absolutely banging though.

james is so funny on this show, and is the first time i saw him on anything, but then i found out hes like a raging progressive liberal and it really turned me off from watching this season again.
