@@jordangallant7482 and where exactly in south africa is this dialect? His Github link even shows from UK so, I'm going to stand by what I said. But if you can show me the region that has this dialect it would be interesting too.
Thanks
this is helpful ❤
Thank you
thanks ❤
Is it necessary to create a new catalog for each damn component?)
I really wish these videos would stop being advertised as courses or tutorials, they're neither really, and don't have anything in common with it. This type of videos are 'code-along videos', that's what they are, and that's what they should be called, there's nothing bad about it, on the contrary, they're super useful for people that are at least at a junior level looking to see how other people do stuff, then do it on their own. But advertising them as courses is misinformation, you're not explained anything, you're not challenged, you just watch someone else complete a project.

You are right my brother I have said this thing in one of my comments on one of those videos before but people misunderstood me. What is like this they don't teach one how to be a developer rather they are displaying their skills. Imagine writing a line of CSS or a function in JavaScript or React JS and failing to explain vividly what that line of code does to the entire application.

I think your criticism is incorrect and unjustified. This is an asynchronous self-directed tutorial. By virtue of being async - you can access it at any time. By being self directed it requires that viewers/students take the initiative to identify their learning needs, formulate questions, seek out resources, and apply the information. This approach helps with independence and critical thinking skills. It's clear by the title and the nature of the video that the above is the nature of the video. In your case, it sounds like what you want is a synchronous instructor led learning course. In this case - you need to pay for such instruction and to go elsewhere for such a course.

This so much. They code along videos are not comprehensive enough to learn as a beginner. And they are a bit more suited for platforms like scrimba than youtube where you can interact with the code on the fly. Learning by building project can help but if the creator is just an experienced dev who's looking for extra bucks just livestreaming his worklflow ....it's a painful waste of time. And a lot of frustration to set anyone back a few steps

@nghiapham7651 why not? especially for mission critical and/or high throughput low latency backend
Please perfect your videos before uploading. At this point, i don't even know what I'm doing again. Just watching you without any explanations
