Psylocke and Spiral are still probably two of the most well animated sprites I've ever seen to this day.

I dont understand why Marvel missed the oportunity of elevating Psylocke to the icon characther as Wolverine was after the boost this game and the Marvel Super Heros game gave her. She was Hot, had fighting skills, telephaty and a badass attitude.

They got a weak actress to play in the final original X-Man film series that featured the Phoenix movie and the overrated Olivia Mann. They made Psylocke in both films, which was wrong.

Geez! you are friggen crazy with Psylocke with the combo. She's my favorite X-men character and top 3 Marvel comic characters. I just love her design and her voice actor.

This game is beautiful. Definitely one of the high points of the 2d sprite era.

When I first saw this game where I used to live in the rough parts of Brooklyn at a local arcade, I never thought I would play as her back then. When I first saw brothers playing a full-fledged casual challenge in the Mojo World stage when this game was brand new there, I was amazed by the high combos. I once wondered if Psylocke could go real high in terms of combo numbers, but by default her combos were real low. It wasn't until I saw this fun tool-assisted playthrough that I have witnessed here on KZread to see what a true Psylocke player can do in this game.🙂

I haven't watched this all the way through but you know this video will have some wicked ass combos

It's a TAS, Tool Assisted Speedrun (Sometimes, Tool Assisted Superplay). It's a frame-by-frame series of inputs that create a theoretical "perfect game." It isn't cheating in the strictest sense, as none of the rules are being broken, only pushed to their limits (as in, a player could, in theory, do any of these tricks or combos, no game data has been altered). Making a TAS requires a fair deal of skill, though, even with all this said.

I sunk a ton of quarters into the arcade game as well, around 25 years ago! And Psylocke was _also_ my go-to girl and one of my favorite Marvel characters! 🥰 And actually, they *did* have her in another game for consoles/PC called Marvel Heroes Omega. I also had her as my main character in that game, but sadly Disney (who owned the rights) shut the game down a couple of years ago... marvelheroes.info/hero/psylocke/

Curious. The psylocke has appeared in x-men: children of atom, marvel super heroes, marvel vs capcom 2 and mvc 1 as a striker character. But the x-23 has a blade Claws in marvel vs capcom 3. Curioso. Essa Psylocke já apareceu no desenho antigo dos anos 90 (teve a voz da Nádia Carvalho) e nos filmes apareceu no X-Men 3 o Confronto Final (teve a voz da Adriana Torres) e no X-Men Apocalipse (Mabel Cezar). A dubladora dela é a mesma da Storm:Catherine Disher. Ela é uma das favoritas da galera que curte X-Men e Marvel.

Psylocke was my main back in the day... That is until I memorized the 'Gouki Code'. But one of my favorite combos was chaining the psy-blade attacks with the 3 kick buttons. I think you did it to Magneto in the 1st round, but it was off-screen. Unless I'm thinking of Marvel Super Heroes.

It's so interesting to see the game like this. If I ever saw a combo longer than 5 moves at the arcade back in the day, I would just walk away and play something else.

The game that started the tod combo bs that has become synonymous with tag and anime games. Cool.

I was never a Fan of Marvel, but I was always a big Fan of the X-Men Franchise, It does have some of the most Hottest Ladies in the X-Men Rouges Gallery like Psylocke, Domino, Mystique, Kitty Pride and Rogue etc.

For a powerful arcade hardware than a CPS2, it doesn't make sense to remove some frames from every characters in this game such as Sentinel's intro.

Two things I remember most about this game: 1) there's a special stun thing that only certain characters can do and it's *particularly* interesting to do on Psylocke and 2) Betsy is apparently fighting without a bra.

Um dos poucos erros que esse jogo tinha era que alguns personagens só tinham um único super combo... infelizmente isso se repetiu até X-Men vs Street Fighter... só a partir de Marvel vs SF é que cada personagem tinha no mínimo 2 super combos

You know dudes & dudettes Psylocke is one of my favorite Fighting Games Characters and she is not only a badass Kunoichi she doubles as a Mutant and to top it off she is one beautiful dudette character I ever seen and just when people thought she was Asian but she really British she just look Asian and at first she was an enemy to the X-Men but she eventually came around and became an X-Men member herself and surprisingly she has her own Marvel Comic Series and some appearances in some Marvel Comics and she got good promotions of being in some Marvel Show Series and got even more promotion to be in Marvel Movies now that is so awesome on all of it but wish I could see more of her in any other Future New Marvel Movies now that would be so awesome on that one don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆
