Yay, auto-parry/auto-just-defend! Makes the battle seem waaaay more epic than it would without it! It was very well put together, but alas, these parries and just defends are the system doing it automatically for both players. It's a setting unlockable from the completion of... hard mode? Don't remember any more, was too long ago.

It is like watching those kungfu fights between two masters where each move is choreographed to be parried in some way and the fight could go either of the two. Awesome.

@Shorty obviously you are wrong if you see the likes under me lol it was a pointless arc that amounted to a stand still that we all predicted. Universe 7 would win and wish everyone back basically contradicting the whole point of the tournament and even the fact that a wish like that was allowed is ridiculous. Why couldn't they wish with their own dragonballs for the ability to erase memories or some shit and erase Zenos decision for that. Why? It's not as interesting but what's worst than that? Being predictable and a waste of time. Every series had major arcs where you felt they needed to do the things they did to win. Hell I'd even argue that if Goku didn't give Cell a senzu bean he wouldn't have been as cocky and would still have killed Gohan fast just so he could get back to fighting Goku which he still would of killed. It felt hopeless with the Android saga, they had to sneak around to maintain everyone....Z warriors running and hiding? That's very different. GT with Baby, he annihilated EVERYONE with no effort and it really looked like he killed Goku. For a first timer it catches you off guard that Goku is gone for all those episodes and uub and pan takes over. I felt like that was what was gonna really happen.

Best fighting memory: me fighting Shin Akuma for the 1st time. 20+ CONTINUES! The fight really felt like this and it was one of the few gaming scenarios where I was actually shaking with adrenaline by the end of it. God Rugal was also no slouch, but had an easier time by that point.

There's a balance rule at play here. The second super executed wins out in same priority moves...lorewise, good rugal is superior, but does get talent over by Akuma eventually.

Rugal has no more energy left. Just enough to strike that pose 😆

They have auto-parry and auto Just Defend enabled on both players. It's a feature you can unlock for beating the game on... hard mode? (idr, it's been over 10 years since I played this). The nearly perfect defenses are the system doing it for them, but otherwise, this is a well put-together fight ^,^
