I will NEVER forget me and my friends spending HOURS with MK1 when it first came out. My mother typed up a sheet with all the moves and taped it to a ripped off book cover.

I still know all the moves from all characters from MK 1 and 2. I lived on those cabinets in my teenage years.

There was once a death animation for when Goro is defeated, but that was ultimately left out and it was instead established that Goro left the tournament, ashamed of having disgraced the shokans by losing to an Earthrealmer.

Near the end of the project the design team was running out of memory space, so some things had to be cut (that's why Shang Tsung does so little). I always found it strange how Goro and Shang Tsung got played up as these incredibly lethal forces and they're the two characters in the game it's completely impossible to kill or get killed by.

Man, it's a rare treat to see Sonya Blade romp like this. I remember when this game absolutely blew up with big crowds at the machines from open to close, and I think the lady soldier got picked once a day, if that. The problem was that she required a lot of technical skill and patience to master in a game where pretty much no one else did. The only other one I can think of who was anywhere near as tricky was Johnny Cage. I have no memory of ever seeing her ending in an arcade... _maybe_ once. Is that why you chose her? If so, kudos. Giving the less popular characters their due _should_ be one of the purposes of TASing. (Anyone else find it weird that the "kiss bomb" actually comes out of her _forehead?_ Didn't even notice until I started looking closely.)

To fight reptile, you must be on the pit stage. If you see a shadow on the moon, preform a fatality with Double Flawless.

Bravo! Awesome TAS. I was hoping theyd give you more flawless points for the harder charecters like goro and shang tsung , but you get 1,000,000 points from me!!

What revision is this? There's a lot of cool bugs that got fixed in rev 5, and rev 4(?) doubled gravity so a lot of juggles were removed (rev 1 you couldn't pick the same character as your opponent, rev 2 fixed that, rev 3 added reptile). Also since you asked for mk1 stuff, in some version Raiden's superman is special cancellable for the opponent when they get hit by it, in all versions when Sonya does leg grab as a punish it also disables the opponent's ability to block until they fully recover, and if you start another leg grab before they recover it will be unblockable, same with Sub's back throw (gets him a free ice ball or slide) and a few other moves, a rising jump punch can be looped until death in rev 1-3, and in rev 4-5 it can still be looped a good few times, in some versions when p1 back throws with their back to the left wall it will screen wrap the opponent, if you kill with a back throw into the right corner you can fatality while being pushed out of the corner which causes it to glitch out, bosses all have the the lower gravity from rev1-3, so even in the later revs you can do the infinites on them, you can cancel the recovery of a ton of moves into guard, which makes mashing jabs safe (this is usually called glitch jab), you can walk away from goro starting as soon as you win the previous round, you'll walk off camera as he spawns, then if you jump away as the round starts you should fly way up off screen (and you can still hit him from up there), and if you whiff Liu's fatality then hold forwards goro wont spawn. To get reptile you need to be on rev 3 or later, in single player be on the pit and there will be a silhouette that flies over the moon at round start sometimes (happens every 6th game iirc, but idk if that was 6th game on the pit, 6th arcade run, or 6th match), then win with a double flawless without blocking and do a fatality.

Sonya leg grab is the only move that does alot of damage
